Ok you talk of one hit wonders but Leona lewis has been in America for the past year what dose that say about Xfactor to me its two fingers to the british public who voted for her, Will young has had a couple of food records along with the runner up Gareth Gates whjo by the way is appearing in the west end.

Also if you can cast you minds back to Darius Denesh who now is just Darius he in the west end another is Chico and hes made a living perhaps noth aas big as darius but he made it so all this fuss over wh wins its B***s.

I don't agree, I believe entering the competition has done a world of good for him, his voice and confidence have improved so much. And at this age, he has the singing factor and the cute factor behind him. Eoghan to win

I think that if Alex does win that her personality might save her from dwindling into distant memory after her first single.

Maybe, but I don't think we have seen her personality yet. The judges say she has an amazing personality yet I don't see it, might be just me ....

My bad. I suppose I have only started watching the last few weeks. He just seems to hold back a lot. Well, that's what I see, but I could be wrong.

From what we've seen so far from Alex it would seem that she has nothing new to offer as she is very similar to a lot of the big names already out there but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a chance at having a successful and long career. So what if she's going to be another Beyonce or Mariah? As long as people like her songs she is going to do well. She already has a lot of fans and I'm sure that she will gain a lot more in due time. There's no denying that Alex has a great voice, even if it's similar to the voices we already hear a lot. A lot of people have always liked songs from the likes of Beyonce, Mariah etc and I'm sure that the same can and will be said for Alex. Besides artists can always re-invent their images and styles, just look at Christina Aguilera.

Now if only JLS would win on Saturday.

Take That cancel 'X Factor'

Take That have allegedly withdrawn from their appearance on the X Factor final, this Saturday night.

Rumour has it that the pop group declined to perform after finding out that newly reformed band Boyzone would also be on the show.

A source said: "Take That are huge fans of X Factor, especially Gary Barlow. He feels a real affinity with the show and loves encouraging new talent. When they heard Boyzone were on the bill they decided not to do it. It’s really upset the schedule."

Beyoncé, Seal and Duffy will also be singing on the show with the X Factor finalists.

Um, aren't they in their 40s now? Isn't that a tad childish? There may be another reason. Well, I hope there is.

Diana blames Cheryl

Diana has supposedly blamed Cheryl for her X Factor removal.

According to reports, Diana disagreed with Cheryl over her songs, 'Girlfriend' and 'White Flag' - and said to her backstage that she should have picked them herself.

"First came the tears and then came the tantrums. Diana was acting like a spoilt kid. She and Cheryl had words backstage and Cheryl felt she needed to spend time with Diana." Reports claim.

Diana went round to Cheryl’s house for Sunday dinner in an attempt to "patch things up", but was actually still upset about her final weeks on the TV3 hit show.

"She felt she should have been allowed to quit last week rather than be booted off. She knew that she'd already reached her peak. She felt she had lost the judges' support."

Diana, herself said in a media interview that she had a lovely lunch at Cheryl’s and did not mention anything about an argument.

I cant see that any of Dianas songs had any thing to do with it she was just and this must be what the public thought not good enough,

After all the public are a ficle bunch and they soon let you know if they dont like you.

It's not necessarily that she isn't good enough (which isn't true in my opinion ) but it's the type of people that vote and the audeinced are more inclined towards *cough* other contestants.

While I want JLS to win I'd be stoked if Eoghan won, it's be so cool to say "OMG! I know an X Factor Winner!"

I find it really hard to believe that Diana would have acted like that as the contestants themselves chose their last songs and Cheryl said Diana had always wanted to sing 'White Flag'. And the judges all loved 'Girlfriend' (even though I personally wasn't a huge fan) and in her interview after it there didn't seem to be any bad feeling from her. But I suppose we don't really know.

And what is it with Take That? Why would they cancel just because Boyzone are going to be there?

I know how random, its a bit backward isnt it not performing because of Boyzone! I love Take That I hope they do perform I dont know about the Diana stuff...
