rising-flame Posted August 20, 2008 Report Posted August 20, 2008 i just find it so relaxing, i try and do some every night. I did a sampler for my cousins wedding and one for her sisters newborn baby. If you want to start out again, try getting one of the magazines as they tend to have easy free kits. I think about two years ago, in teh whole year there was only two days when i didn't stitch. I even took it skiing with me and after an accident on a skidoo i spent the day sat on top of a mountain with an amazing view, stitching. Have any of you been to the craft fairs? I went to olympia this year but it wasn't great, but the nec in november is normally amazing. I do card making as well so i tend to come back a little broke!
rising-flame Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 I have a "T". Took my 2 days to stitch. Would have taken me one but I was doing my mum's accounts for her.
rachel&kim Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Just finished my latest flower fairies! It's so cool to see one when you've finished. When there's a breakup I always stitch a lot. So I guess I'll be doing LOADS in the next few weeks; lot of spare time!
rising-flame Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 how's the stitching going? I really need to finish my panda for the letter P so i can start the dalek for my friends birthday. But my parents have been away all this week so I've been making a mess making cards instead of stitching
Mez83 Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 I've finished one of the names, and I did a whole lot of one last weekend. Haven't done a lot this week but probably will this weekend.
rising-flame Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 doing your christmas presents already? that's organised!
lolajaney Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 just started first one in 8 months. doing an all our yesterdays 'best pals'
Cerise Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Oh, I remember cross titching from Home Economics! I did my Junior Cert Project in x-stitch. It was awesome. I still have the prototype I made...
rising-flame Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 cool. fancy uploading a piccie? I started the dalek for my friend last night. It's so annoying to stitch, all random stitches everywhere. Spent sat evening sorting out all my threads, which are now all in numerical order, and look very pretty.
