xGlowingAngelx Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Whilst Christine isn't my favourite, I do think she's good. I see a bit of a dark horse in her too. Her dance last night was IMO, her best so far. She is slightly underrated, but unfortunately I think that's because Matthew was partnered with Alesha last year and Alesha was (To quite a few people) "One of the nearest we've had to a professional dancer on the show", so in some ways, both Christine and Matthew are going to feel the pressure there. There are quite a few others I would rate above Christine, but I also wouldn't underrate her. She does also have a wonderful personality! I think Jodie's the one they all need to be most cautious of, because she really is a dark horse and if the others don't watch out, she could easily overtake them. Once John's out of the competition, it will REALLY hot up and I cannot wait to see it, whenever it is. But I'd rather he didn't stay in at the expense of the others who have all raised their games majorly. It's so unfair.

Bruce & Anton in the result show were brilliant. I think Anton should take over from Bruce as host next year, does anyone agree?
Deborah Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I reckon they are grooming Anton to be the next presenter of the show. I think of him like a young Bruce Forsyth with very similar mannerisms! Who is it that keeps voing John through at the expense of people who are miles better than him?! He really should have been the one to go out yesterday, not Cherie! I voted for Rachel yesterday, loved her dance with Vincent She's another one that should not have been in the dance off last week. Wonder if it might be better next year, if they got people to vote for who should go out rather than stay in the show? What do you think, do you think that would be any fairer?

We can't vote for everyone we like whereas it only takes 1 call to vote for the 1 we liked the least. Even if they only did it this way for the first say 8 weeks & then we can get rid of all the duff dancers & then start voting for our favourite, would that work? I still haven't decided who my fave is yet, but I think I would like to see Rachel, Austin & Tom in the final. Last year I had a SCD final party at my house & had all the girls round & we watched it on the projector screen with several bottles of wine which was a blast but I think this years is going to be better.
Lesley Bee Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 I am so shocked at the result, Cherie definately didn't deserve to go, it should have been John who on earth is voting for him? personally i don't blame the judges, or the other dancers, for being upset. at Brucie and Anton's routine, i loved it i think if Brucie ever retired Anton would be a good replacement

I think that it will be working as normal, John will just not be part of the competition anymore. I dont know whether he will be scored or not...I severely doubt it! I am also relieved that he has gone, but I would have prefered it if the people who were voting for him realised that his time was over, and stopped voting for him and he went out properly. He actually started to really annoy because he was being really patronizing to the judges about how they didn't understand the rules properly. The judges are only doing their job of judging the actual dancing. Which he was crap at.

My husband said on Sunday, that this is what John should do, & I agree. I wonder who will win! I think Tom, Austin, Rachel & possibly Christine are in with a good chance.
