Eurgh this Gia/Adrianna storyline has genuinely angered me. 90210 went on and on about how it was going to be a proper relationship and a love story and it lasted 3 episodes. Even Charlie and Joey on Home and Away lasted longer than that.

I hope Gia sticks around though.

By the way Slade what episode are you on ? Watching at UK Pace ? I watch at US Pace and you know just about as much as me so I think the UK might only be an episode behind...
Well on Tuesday on E4 it will be episode 18 and I'm pretty certain they are showing episode 19 in the US so yes you are right we are a week behind (I'm watching at UK pace) but if you think about it for a brief time we will be level with the US, for a few hours maybe. I think they've only got 4 episodes left in the US which means they are showing 22 episodes this season :( (last season it was 24). Bright side is at least they are doing a third season according to what I've read. :D

Something I else I forgot to mention was that this whole thing with Annie and Jasper bothered me. I do think she cared about him and I accept that she wasn't in love with him but I really don't like the way she looked so smug when she was leaving the hospital. She got drunk, got behind the wheel, ran someone over, killed them and just left them there. I think according to what Teddy said when he found Jasper's uncle he was already dead but Annie didn't know that when she sped off. Surely that is definite jail time. Initially when she isolated herself from everybody when they were all in Summer school I thought she was genuinely sorry and feeling guilty about what happened but now it just seems like she was more worried about getting caught than about the fact that she actually took someone's life (even though it was accidental) and the effects it would have on the guy's family. If you think about it even though I feel she is essentially a good person what she did is far worse than anything Jen and Naomi have done - two people who've shown how horrible they can be. I think this storyline is pretty much over with but I think the writers have kind of left it open when the confession she wrote on her laptop auto saved. So I guess they can revisit it some point in the future if they want to.

Ahh yes, episode 19 will air in the US on tuesday after a 2 week break :D Hopefully there will be no more breaks! I am glad that 90210 will be having a 3rd season but tbh I would rather Melrose Place get a 2nd season instead of a 3rd for 90210 :( The most annoying bit about Melrose being cancelled (very very likely) is that we wont get to see what happens next! :( Anyway this is the 90210 thread so we'll stick to 90210 for now :P

I have a feeling that Naomi maybe the one to find out what Annie did , either her or Dixon. It would be interesting to see how Naomi would react because I'm sure she will feel very guilty seeing as it was her fault Annie went off and got drunk in the first place!

I would really like to see Naomi's mother to come back for a few episodes, I loved the dynamic between her,Debbie and Harry. Maybe they could revisit the whole illegitimate child storyline from last season because it was never really wrapped up!

TBH I'm surprised it took you so long to actually start watching Melrose place (even though you've finished it before me) as it seemed to have the ingredients for you to like - it features Kate Cassidy who you've said you're a huge fan of (I am too ever since Supernatural) and I think Melrose place is in the same universe as 90210 even though the shows aren't actually connected. Just curious but did you watch the entire season in a couple of days or something? You seem to get through shows awful quick .

Random thought - don't you think Jen would be great in Melrose place? She would fit in perfectly. She's the right age (i.e. twenty something and so wouldn't have to torment a group of high school teens) and has all the desirably qualities of a person in that show. Although I think the apartments would be a step down from a mansion in Hollywood Hills.

I would love to see Tracey return. She was what you would call a MILF and I thought she looked great for her age (I'm guessing she's probably in her early forties). I loved the stuff with her Harry and Debbie too but there is no way they can revisit that storyline because as well as doing it last season they've already done it this season (Harry/Debbie/Kelly) albeit a very poor attempt. I would have really liked to have seen a continuation of the Tracey/Harry adopted son storyline but that seems to have been forgotten like so much other stuff.

Even though the mansion is being paid for by Naomi the lease is under Jen's name, so can Naomi stay their legally? I find it hard to believe that neither of Naomi's parents have been in contact with her since she moved in with Jen. I think it would very plausible to have Tracey come back from New York and move in with her now that Naomi is on her own.

Anyway not a bad episode. I felt really sorry for Mr Cannon earlier on but I'm glad Naomi came clean. I knew she would. Earlier in the thread I said she was becoming like Jen but this just proves how they differ. At least she told the truth eventually (Jen would have gone all the way) so hopefully in future she will think more about the consequences of her actions before she does anything. As much as I like her I'm kind of glad everything's backfired on her like this. The whole way everybody was looking at her and talking about her was IMO some sort of Karma. Annie was in the same position several months ago when Naomi sent the naked text of her around the whole school. Considering everything that's happened I actually thought it was kind of ironic Annie being the only person to make an effort with her and not to judge her although admittedly it's only because she's having a hard time dealing with killing Jasper's uncle. Again as much as I like Annie I'm also glad she's having a hard time too. No way after killing someone even if it was an accident (and seeming so smug about apparently getting away with it last week) should she be allowed to carry on with her life like nothing's happened. Nice to finally see some Silver/Annie stuff. I thought that friendship was forgotten about.

I have to admit I found it a little funny when Liam moved out. He'd rather live with his stepdad (who he can't stand) than live with Naomi after what she did (someone who he said he loved earlier on in the episode). I thought he was a bit harsh with Ivy but at I guess he was just being honest. Something I kept forgetting to say was that Liam reminds me so much of Ryan from the OC. Both good people/intelligent but have trouble keeping their temper in check. This storyline with Liam's dad being released from prison reminds me a bit of the last season from OC when Ryan's dad wanted to track Ryan down.

Could Navid have been anymore obvious if he tried. He clearly isn't over Adrianna. I completely forgot she was a recovering addict so TBH I'm not sure the music industry is going to do her any good. I'm surprised Gia cheated on her so easily considering she turned down the opportunity of getting with her ex at a shot of going out with Adrianna in the first place. A bit disappointed that relationship ended so quickly.

Quite liked the Ivy Dixon stuff and wouldn't mind those two as a couple although it would feel a bit like Ivy's on the rebound.

Glad to see Ryan enjoying himself and he seems to have gotten over the depression he was experiencing over the breakup with Jen. I don't mind Laurel. I wouldn't particularly say I like her and Ryan as a couple but I like the fact that she's very open about herself (unlike Jen).

Next episode's the one I'm looking forward to but I'm going to have to wait a whole week for that.

Yes, I don't know why it took me so long to get into Melrose Place but as with all shows if I start watching them late then I will download the entire series! I did this with Melrose Place, I watched at least 3 episodes everynight because it was just so amazing, I also did the same with the first season of 90210 :P I totally agree that Jen would have totally slotted into Melrose Place perfectly, I could see her become an enemy of Ella or Amanda!

It does seem extremely weird that Naomi lives by herself, she must only be around 17! I always think shes a lot older because she looks it and she has her own house, her own car and loads of money! It wouldn't hurt to mention her mother or father every once in a while would it ?

I think the reason why the Kelly/Debbie/Harry storyline was dropped so quickly was because of TPTB's decision to give the older cast less screentime and focus on the teens more, hence why we don't see much of Kelly and how Brenda has completely dissapeared! I really did love Kelly and it felt like they were building her up to have a relationship with Ryan but it was just completely forgotten about. The show just seems to have taken a whole new direction this season and I really do like it but I do prefer some aspects from last season.

Oh my goodness have they actually completely ditched Gia because she's not with Adrianna anymore? Surely she hasn't left West Bev? Eurgh this whole thing irritates me. It's like lesbian characters are only good if they're messing up the lives of the straightys! Rumer has said on Twitter herself that she hopes they bring Gia back next season. Implying that she's not going to be back this season!

Bring back Gia and Alexa (or Adrianna but thats clearly not going to happen!)

I don't think they've ditched Gia. She's a guest character that's been in and out most of this season. If you recall at the beginning of the season she was trying to run a story on the Blaze. I hope we see her again. In spite of cheating on Adrianna I quite liked her although I do wonder what the point of her storyline with Adrianna was. Was it some sort of plot device? If so for what?

So we see the return of that clown who took the topless picture of Annie and tried to force himself on her on the beach. I thought Dixon was an idiot. Losing to Mark like that in poker was one thing but after that he should have just come clean to Harry. Now Dixon's put Harry in a position where he could jeopardise his whole career and he had to go and tell Mark about Harry covering up the incident afterwards. Mark definitely has some ammunition to use when the time comes.

I really liked Naomi in that episode. She wasn't as funny as she can be but I liked how she acknowledged that she did the wrong thing and publicly apologised for the false sexual harassment claim against Mr Cannon. It took guts standing on the table in the cafeteria and delivering a speech like that. I really liked the scene with her and Mr Cannon later on and I'm glad they've moved on from that now.

I have to admit that I am quite enjoying the scenes with Liam and Annie and there's definite chemistry there IMO but I'm still disappointed the writers have decided to go down this route. Now that Annie and Naomi are friends again (albeit their scenes not as good as last year) and considering what Naomi put Annie through before I really hope nothing happens with Annie and Liam although I'm guessing something will, else why bother doing the storyline otherwise? Liam's the one who would bother me the most if something did happen. Two weeks ago he told Naomi he loved her and had a school teacher up against the wall trying to defend her and now he's developing feelings for another girl, although last season I always felt he liked Annie anyway.

I found it hard not to feel sorry for Naomi TBH. At the start of the episode it seemed like nobody wanted to have anything to do with her. Her own boyfriend wouldn't even acknowledge her and after the speech things were back on track. She was in high spirits on the morning of her SATs and now with Jen returning like that it's turned her whole world upside down again. Jen is unbelievably self-centred (No surprise there then!). When I heard she was returning at first I thought she may have seen the error of her ways and perhaps apologised to Naomi for what happened but no it's all about Jen. Even though she slept with her sister's boyfriend out of pure spite and malice, used Naomi solely to live of her trust fund, manipulated Naomi into giving her $100000 for a race horse, Jen's upset because Naomi turned her back on her. Unbelievable. If she wants to be upset with someone she should be upset with Liam for outing her or Ryan - If anyone turned their back on Jen it was him.

If Jen wanted to she could make Naomi's life really difficult. She could stop her from going to the beach club (where Naomi likes to hang out), terminate the lease on the mansion Naomi's living in as the lease is under Jen's name. Anyway I can't imagine she's come back just to get back at Naomi so I would like to see her have some fun with Liam again and see her interact with more of the main cast from the show.

It's a shame Naomi had to see Jen before sitting the exams because she looked so scarred and distraught afterwards so she's not in the right frame of mind anymore and I'm guessing she will flunk. Come to think of it I think most of the characters will have real problems passing their SATs. Annie is too busy thinking about Liam. Liam is worried about what spending a week on his own with his step dad. Ivy is thinking about Dixon. Dixon is thinking about the mess he's Dad could potentially be in with Mark. Silver's p*ssed off with Teddy. I think the only one who doesn't really have anything to worry about is Navid but is he actually smart enough to pass the SATs?

I think they will fail all of them so they can pull in an extra season of 90210 with them repeating a year. Everyone knows the original turned to crap when they left high school :P (Yes, sarcasm)

SPOILERS:

- Naomi is broken up with by Liam and then raped by her teacher

- Annie and Liam's boat blows up with them on it

- Adrianna and Navid get back together

- A secret from Jen and Ryan's past sends the latter off the rails

- Harry and Debbie decide to split up leading to Harry's exit from the show

- Someone killed Jasper's uncle - and it's someone we know

- Teddy reveals a very dark side when he gets revenge on his father

Intense!

I felt sorry for Liam. He really put his faith into Finn and was so was understandably disappointed and upset after he gave Finn the expensive coins he stole from his step dad before to start a business and Finn left town without a word, with Liam's hopes to escape Jeffrey all but gone.

Mixed feelings about Naomi. I thought she was a bit insensitive with Liam because she was slightly obsessed with beating Jen. I didn't like the way she seemed dismissive of him when he tried to tell her about what happened with Finn and when he went round to her house afterwards again coming across as self-absorbed (Although I do think he should have really asserted himself). TBH I thought for a second that part of him didn't want to tell Naomi. They are drifting further apart especially now that he'd rather confide in Annie and Annie feels she can talk to him about the problems her parents are having with their marriage. Let's face it Dixon doesn't want to talk to his own sister about it and I know Ivy was in his bedroom but that's twice Dixon's blown off Annie when she's tried to confide in him which I really didn't like.

Although it was perfectly understandable that Naomi wanted to get back at Jen after what Jen did to her I think she probably should have listened to Liam's advice. I know it would have been hard to stay away from Jen (considering that she bought Naomi's house giving Naomi a month to find somewhere else to live) but I think when Jen invited her to dinner she should have simply not turned up at all. In saying that I really enjoyed the stuff with her and Jen and Jen played a blinder yet again. Jen's double-bluff was a masterstroke. She was actually quite convincing when she apologised to Naomi about what she put her through before and if not for the fact Jen effectively threatened Naomi the previous episode you could argue Jen might have seen the error of her ways. Both of them are so funny at times, the way Jen manages to be nasty but at the same time comes across as pleasant natured and casually making small talk such as her "Aren't you hungry ?" line when announcing to Naomi she would be looking after her financial interests -incidentally I'm guessing Jen didn't just inform Charles about the way Naomi was exhausting her trust fund but probably blackmailed him again like she did before to gain access to Naomi's money in the first place. Similarly I found it really funny after Naomi's horror reaction after being woken up from her beauty sleep and finding out Jen would be in control of her assets, before storming off. Incidentally I didn't think it was possible for anyone to look as good as Naomi did after just waking up. Anyway I'm really looking forward to seeing how this setup and their relationship pans out.

Jen still likes Ryan. :D It's a shame Olivier was there as one of the people hoping for a Jen/Ryan reunion (if there are any), I would have liked to have seen the first proper chat between them since they split up. Jen obviously wanted to say something to him but couldn't because of her husband (soon to be ex hopefully). In spite of everything Ryan was still the gentleman but it was a shame he had to get drunk a make a spectacle of himself in front of two of his students as I actually thought he was starting to get things together but it's obvious he isn't over Jen.

I'm not sure what it is about Teddy's dad but I just don't like the guy.

I'm glad Navid finished with Lila. He did care about her but I felt he only got together with her in the first place to try and get over Ade and it didn't work. And I don't think it was fair the way he kept hanging around Adrianna so he did the right thing regardless of whether he and Ade get back together or not.

Oh and Laurel was right, Adrianna really killed it in her duet with Javier. I really enjoyed that.
