Aden+Belle forever Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Chapter 23 – Its your fault “Aden, son” Larry said, slowly approaching his son as the heavy rain drenched both of them “Don’t call me that,” Aden said, stepping back away from Larry “How dare you show your face here, I don’t know how you have the nerve” “What do you mean Aden, I’m saying goodbye to my son” Larry said, as the tears slowly fell from his eyes “WHY, ITS YOUR FAULT HE IS DEAD” Aden shouted, unable to control his emotions anymore “Don’t say that” Larry said angrily “ITS TRUE THOUGH, ITS ALL YOUR FAULT. IF YOU HAD LOOKED AFTER US, LIKE A FATHER SHOULD HAVE DONE, THEN SEAN WOULD STILL BE HERE” Aden cried “ITS YOUR FAULT SEAN IS DEAD AND JUSTIN IS NO LONGER HERE” “Please Aden” Larry begged, before Aden interrupted him “NO, IF YOU HAD LOOKED AFTER YOU, LIKE YOU PROMISED MUM YOU WOULD, THEN GRANDAD………………” “I’m sorry Aden” Larry cried “SORRY WONT BRING SEAN BACK, HE IS DEAD AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT, I HATE YOU” Aden shouted, tears rolling down his face Larry couldn’t control himself anymore, lunging forward at Aden, grabbing him by the shirt and pinning him against a nearby wall “SHUT UP, JUST SHUT UP” Larry shouted, hoping Aden would stop shouting at him “ITS YOUR FAULT MY BROTHER IS GONE, ITS YOUR FAULT HE LEFT HOME, ITS YOUR FAULT HE WENT TO PRISON AND ITS YOUR FAULT HE IS DEAD” Aden screamed at his father Larry couldn’t take it anymore, he was unable to control himself as he clenched his fist and punched Aden directly in the face. Aden held his cheek, which had quickly turned bright red as his father stepped away from him, unable to justify what he had just done Belle, who has previously been watching the argument from afar, wanting to stop the fight but unable to move her feet, quickly raced over. “ADEN” Belle shouted in despair, barging her way past Larry and checking on Aden “Aden…I’m so…I’m sorry…I didn’t………..I didn’t mean it” Larry stuttered through his words, truly sorry and regretful over his actions Aden listened to his father’s words and looked up at him. Larry saw the fear and hurt in his eyes and felt awful. Larry tried to help him to his feet but Aden pushed him away “Keep him away from me” Aden said angrily “Aden” Larry begged “Stay away from him” Belle warned Larry, coldly glaring at him before turning her focus back to Aden “Come on, lets get out of here” Belle helped Aden to his feet and led him to the car. Aden climbed into the passengers seat as Belle climbed into the drivers seat and began to drive out of the cemetery Larry had watched them walk away from him and step into the car. He wanted to race after them, to talk to Aden, but he couldn’t move. “Aden” he called out, but they couldn’t hear him As Belle pulled out of the cemetery, Aden took one last look at his father, standing in the middle of the cemetery in the pouring rain. He turned away in disgust, he couldn’t even look at his father anymore, there relationship had truly hit rock bottom
