[Aden+Belle forever]

Chapter 48 – Weekend Visit

The loud ringing of Belle’s mobile phone rudely awakened Belle the following morning. She tried to ignore it but the loud bleeping made it impossible to go back to sleep

She sat up in the bed and glanced over to Aden, who was sleeping peacefully beside her.

“Sure, you can sleep” Belle muttered sarcastically to herself as she tiredly rubbed her eyes and glanced over at the alarm clock that sat on her bedside table.

“7 AM, great” Belle muttered again sarcastically, as she picked up the phone and accepted the call, not even looking at the caller ID

“Hello” Belle said grumpily, as she held the small electronic device to her ear

“Belle”

“Mum” Belle said immediately, her voice perking up

“How are you darling” Amanda asked

“I’m okay, although I would be better if I wasn’t woken up so early” Belle said, her tone was one of seriousness yet amusement “Its 7 o clock mum”

“I know that Belle” Amanda said, rolling her eyes “I was just wondering if…”

“What” Belle asked

“Well, would you like to come up to the city for the weekend, to stay with me and Peter and Ryan” Amanda said

“Oh” Belle replied, “I’m not sure mum”

“Aden could come as well, if you like” Amanda offered

“Um, I would like too, really I would, its just that I don’t know if I could get the time off work, and even if I can, I don’t know if Aden will as well” Belle said, biting her bottom lip

“Could you try please Belle” Amanda pleaded “I haven’t seen you in such a long time, speaking over the phone isn’t the same”

“I know, look, I will try but no promises” Belle replied

“Thanks love, speak to you soon” Amanda said

“Bye” Belle said, hanging up the phone

Belle then placed the phone back on the bedside table and glanced over to Aden, who was still asleep

“Aden” Belle whispered quietly, gently nudging him on the arm

“Aden, wake up” Belle said, this time more forcefully, as Aden finally opened his eyes

“What” Aden asked grumpily as his eyes tried to adjust to the early morning light “Belle, its too early”

“I know, but Amanda just called me, and she wants me to go and stay in the City with her for the weekend” Belle replied

“Oh, okay” Aden said, although there was a tone of sadness in his voice

“Don’t worry, your invited too,” Belle said, rolling his eyes at his reaction

“That’s good then” Aden replied with his usual cocky smile “but what about work”

“That’s the problem” Belle replied with a sigh “I want to go, it just I don’t think we can both get the time off”

“It will be fine Belle” Aden reassured her “Irene is back tonight, and Nicole owes me a favour”

“Your really going to get Nicole to cover your shifts” Belle asked with a chuckle

“Yeah, why” Aden replied

“Come on Aden, she isn’t exactly………suited to hard work” Belle said “besides, she will probably be afraid of breaking a nail or something”

“Come on Belle, she isn’t that bad”

“Speak for yourself Aden” Belle replied with a lighthearted chuckle

“Hey Roman” Belle said as she entered the kitchen and wrapped the small black apron around her waist

“Morning Belle” Roman replied with a smile, as he continued preparing the breakfasts

“Roman, I have a favour to ask” Belle said, biting her bottom lip nervously

“I’m listening” Roman replied, although his eyes were still focused on the food in front of him

“Well, could me and Aden have this weekend off work, please” Belle said

“Belle, are you serious” Roman replied, before Belle interrupted him

“Please Roman, look Irene will be back tonight and Nicole is going to cover Aden’s shifts” Belle pleaded, as she made her best puppy dogs eyes at him “please Roman”

“Fine” Roman said, reluctantly giving in

“Yay, thanks Roman” Belle squealed, quickly hugging him

“Breakfast to table 2 please Belle” Roman said, handing Belle the plate with the food that he was preparing earlier

“Right, straight away” Belle said quickly, as she grabbed hold of the plate and took it out to the waiting customer

“NIC, YOU HERE” Aden shouted as he walked though the front door at Roman’s house

“NICOLE” Aden shouted, as he walked though the main room and into the kitchen

“NICOLE” Aden shouted again, leaving the kitchen and heading up the stairs towards her bedroom

He approached her bedroom and slowly knocked on her door. After receiving no reply, Aden slowly turned the door handle and took a step inside, where he saw Nicole lay out across her bed, reading a girly magazine whilst listening to her Ipod.

Aden licked his lips in delight as he slammed the bedroom door shut, making Nicole jump

“ADEN” Nicole shrieked, even louder than usual as she was still listening to her Ipod

Aden slowly approached her and pulled the earphones out of her ears, only to receive a punch in the arm

“Ow, what was that for” Aden asked, as he rubbed the now sore spot on his right arm

“For scaring me” Nicole replied “why do you have to be such a jerk all the time”

“You love me really” Aden replied sweetly

“Don’t let Belle hear you say that” Nicole joked, “What do you want anyway”

“Well, you know that favour you owe me” Aden began

“Yes” Nicole said, unsure what Aden was going to say next

“I’m calling it in” Aden replied with a cocky smile “your working my shift at the diner this weekend”

“WHAT, NO” Nicole screamed, as she covered her face with her hands

“You have to Nic, that’s the deal” Aden replied

“I hate you” Nicole said

“Hate you too” Aden replied, sticking his tongue out at the blonde

Belle was cleaning up a table in the Diner when she saw Aden walk in, about to start his shift

“Hey babe” Aden said, as he placed his hands around Belle’s waist and began to kiss her neck

“Aden, I’m working” Belle said, as she turned around to face him “and you should be too”

“Fine” Aden replied with a sigh, as he removed his hands from Belle’s waist and headed into the kitchen

As Belle finished stacking up the plates, she picked them up and began to walk over to the kitchen, when she suddenly felt herself go light headed. She tried to shake off the feeling but she couldn’t, as her legs buckled beneath her. She quickly grabbed onto a nearby table to steady herself as the plates smashed around her

“BELLE” Aden shouted, as he raced out of the kitchen and helped support her

“I’m fine” Belle replied quickly “I just felt a little dizzy, that’s all”

“Belle, sit down” Aden said, as he pulled up a chair for Belle to sit on

“I don’t need too Aden” Belle replied stubbornly “I have work to do”

“Aden is right Belle” Roman said, having come out of the kitchen to see what the noise was “take a 5 minute break”

“I’m fine, really” Belle replied, as she took a seat on the chair that Aden had pulled out for her

“What’s wrong Belle” Aden asked, once she was sat down

“Nothing Aden” Belle said with a sigh “I just got a little dizzy, that’s all”

“And there’s nothing else wrong” Aden asked quickly

“Look, I’m just feeling……feeling a little under the weather, okay” Belle replied “but I’m fine, really”

“No your not, your taking the rest of the day off” Aden insisted

“I cant Aden” Belle began, before Aden interrupted her

“No buts Belle, your feeling ill and I wont let you work yourself into the ground” Aden replied, as he ran his fingers through Belle’s hair

“But I cant leave you and Roman on your own” Belle said

“Its fine really, we can cope” Aden replied with a smile “you just go home, make yourself some hot chocolate and get tucked into bed”

“What did I do to deserve you” Belle said, as she kissed Aden sweetly on the lips

After another busy day at the Diner, Aden was glad to finally get home. With Belle gone, it added to the pressure, so Aden was delighted when Roman let him have to final hour off before his shift was due to end

“Hey” Aden said, as he walked though the door to the Beach House and saw Annie and Jai sitting together on the sofa watching TV, with Geoff sat in an armchair reading some boring history book “Where’s Belle”

“She is upstairs, I don’t think she is feeling that good” Annie replied “I made her some soup earlier, so at least she has eaten something”

“Thanks Annie” Aden said sincerely, as he headed towards Belle’s bedroom

“Belle” Aden said, as he gently knocked on her bedroom door before entering. He saw her wrapped up underneath the covers in her bed, fast asleep. He moved towards her, accidentally kicking the empty soup bowl that Annie had brought up for Belle earlier. He quickly looked at her to make sure the disturbance hadn’t woke her, which thankfully it hadn’t. He slowly sat down on the edge of her bed and began to stroke the hair away from her face. He softly kissed her on the cheek before slowly getting up of the bed and heading back towards the door

“Aden” Belle called out weakly, just as Aden was about to walk out of the bedroom

“Hey, did I wake you” Aden said softly, as he walked back over towards Belle and sat on the edge of her bed

“No, you didn’t wake me” Belle replied

“Are you okay” Aden asked, as he placed his hand of top of Belle’s forehead “your burning up Belle”

“I’m fine” Belle replied stubbornly

“I’m calling Amanda, telling her you’re too ill to visit” Aden said, as he picked up Belle’s phone from the bedside table

“No” Belle called out “Look, I will be fine for tomorrow, please Aden”

“Fine” Aden reluctantly gave in “but if you’re feeling less than 100% tomorrow, then your not leaving this bed, okay”

“Thanks Aden, you’re the best,” Belle said, as Aden leant down and kissed Belle sweetly on the lips

It was when Nicole kissed Aden way back at the start of the fic, although I never mentioned in the story until now (tbh, I hadnt really planned it, but tried to get a bit of humour in the fic, so I needed a reason for Aden to visit Nicole, and that was the first thing I could think off)

Chapter 49 – Amanda

Belle woke up early the next morning. She still wasn’t feeling that great but she was feeling a lot better than she did yesterday. She stretched herself out across the bed, surprised by how much room there actually was in it without Aden in there with her. She slowly raised herself up into a seating position, and could only smile to herself when she saw Aden asleep on the floor.

Belle slowly got out of her bed and wrapped a dressing gown around herself before she knelt down beside a sleeping Aden

“Wake up sleepy head” Belle whispered into Aden’s ear

Aden slowly opened his eyes and sat himself up in a seating position, his back aching having spent all night on the cold, hard floor

“Why did you sleep on the floor, there was plenty of room in the bed” Belle said, as she carefully stroked the side of Aden’s face

“I didn’t want to disturb you” Aden replied

“Aw, your so sweet” Belle said truthfully, as she kissed him on the cheek

“So how are you feeling today” Aden asked

“I’m feeling better, still a little rough but a lot better than yesterday at least” Belle replied “so can we still go to Amanda’s”

“I guess so” Aden replied with a warm smile

After Aden had quickly raced around to Roman’s house to pick up some clean clothes for the trip, he had returned to the Beach House.

“Hey, ready to go” Aden asked as he waited in the kitchen for Belle

“Yep” Belle said, as she came out of her bedroom carrying a small pink suitcase containing all her clothes for the trip

“You shouldn’t be carrying that,” Aden said, as he raced over to Belle and took the suitcase away from her

Belle just sighed as she followed Aden outside. She got into the passengers side of her car as Aden loaded Belle’s suitcase into the boot of the car before stepping into the driver’s side

“Ready to go” Aden asked, as he placed a pair of sunglasses over his eyes

“You look ridiculous” Belle giggled, as he car pulled away from the Beach House

It was only a short drive into the city, so Belle and Aden arrived at Amanda’s house in almost no time

Belle stepped out of the car and stretched her legs, before looking up at the house in front of them. Aden quickly stepped out of the driver’s side of the car and joined Belle

“Are you going inside, or just looking” Aden asked sarcastically, as he removed his sunglasses

“I’m going in” Belle replied with a smile, as she raced up to the front door, and using the key that Amanda has given her on her last visit, slowly opened the door, leaving Aden to carry all of the luggage.

“BELLE” Ryan screeched as soon as he saw his older sister walk though the door. He quickly paused the game that he was playing on his XBOX 360 and raced over towards her

“RY” Belle said in the same excited tone, bending down and hugging her little brother

“BELLE” Amanda shrieked, as she stepped out of the kitchen and quickly raced over to her daughter, bringing her in for a hug

“Hey mum” Belle said, as she pulled away from the hug

“Where is Aden” Amanda asked with a smile

“I’m right here,” Aden said with a cocky smile, as he entered the house carrying a large, dark blue backpack and a small, pink suitcase

“Just leave them down there Aden” Amanda said, pointing towards the dining room “we can move them later”

“Okay, thanks” Aden said, as he headed over towards the dining room and dumped the luggage in there

“So Belle, I was thinking that we could go shopping together, it’s been such a long time since we did that” Amanda offered

“I guess so” Belle replied with a fake smile. Secretly she hated shopping with her mother, she would always suggest clothes that were not her style, and when she would say no, Amanda would end up sulking like a little girl who didn’t get what she wanted for Christmas “but what about Aden and Ry”

“I’m there they will be okay for a couple of hours, besides Peter should be home soon” Amanda said as he grabbed her coat and handbag “so shall we”

“Lets go” Belle said with a fake smile

“Bye babe” Aden said, kissing Belle on the cheek before sitting on the sofa next to Ryan and watching him play on the XBOX

“Help me Aden” Belle mouthed at him, as Amanda literally dragged her out of the house, locking the door behind them

Aden's so sweet, sleeping on the floor so that he didn't disturb Belle! Where can I get a guy like that?!
