I could see that he actually was trying to carry on for Belle's sake... Excellent writing and i loved the fluffy bits with them cuddling up to one another! Please update soon!
Aden+Belle forever Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Chapter 9 – Remember Me It hadn’t been an easy night for Aden. Since Aden had told Belle his secret, he barely got any sleep at all. He tried to sleep, but he just couldn’t. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw the flashbacks of his grandfather. He glanced over at the alarm clock that was sitting on his bedside table, which was displaying 5:30 AM in large, red numbers “Half-five, great” Aden muttered sarcastically, as he remembered that he had work at 9:00 the following morning. He then glanced over to Belle, who was sleeping peacefully beside him. He felt a warm smile come across his face as he just watched her sleep. Slowly, he used his hand to remove a piece of hair from across Belle’s face and kissed her on the cheek, and he was pretty sure that he saw her smile when he did this He slowly untangled himself from the bed covers and grabbed a T-shirt from the floor, before he opened the door. He was about to walk out when he heard something move. He turned around and he saw Belle sitting up on the bed “Where are you going” Belle asked, as she rubbed her eyes tiredly “I just need some fresh air, babe” Aden said, as he walked over to Belle and kissed her on the lips “just go back to sleep, okay” “Are you sure, I mean, I could come with you” Belle asked, as a tired yawn escaped her mouth “Belle, look at you, your shattered, get some sleep, okay” Aden said smiling “Okay” Belle said, as she kissed Aden on the cheek and lay back down in bed and shut her eyes Aden headed out of the bedroom and carefully shut the door behind him, before he walked down the stairs. As he reached the bottom of the staircase, he noticed something moving around in the kitchen. Cautiously, he tiptoed across the floor until he reached the kitchen. He turned around the corner and bumped into Roman, who has fetching some milk out of the fridge “Aden, what are you doing” Roman asked, after nearly jumping out of his skin when he saw Aden “Couldn’t sleep” Aden muttered “you” “Same” Roman replied “One of my habits that I got from the army, no matter how tired I am, I am always awake at the crack of dawn” “How come I have never heard you then” Aden asked curiously “I am careful to make little noise, could you imagine the ear bashing I would get from Nicole if I woke her from her beauty sleep” Roman said laughing, also drawing a smile from Aden “You want tea,” Roman asked, as he picked up a mug from the cupboard and began pouring some tea “No thanks” Aden replied Roman simply nodded as he continued to pour the tea. After adding the milk and sugar, he grabbed the mug and sat down at the table “So what’s up” Roman asked “Nothing, I just can’t sleep” Aden replied “Are you having nightmares again” Roman asked “I am, but I just don’t want to talk about it” Aden said “Okay, but if you need to talk, you know where I am” Roman said, as he patted Aden on the shoulder before standing up and heading out of the kitchen “Thanks Roman” Aden shouted, as he watched Roman walk up the stairs. ----------xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx----------- Belle slowly entered the kitchen and chuckled to herself when she saw Aden, resting his head on the table and lightly snoring “Aden” Belle said, as Aden opened his eyes and lifted his head up “Hey” Aden said, “What time is it” “Its 8.30” Belle replied, as she poured herself a glass of orange juice “Okay, how about I go and get changed, and then we can talk to work together” Aden said, as he walked over to Belle “Sounds good” Belle replied, as she kissed Aden on the lips ----------xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx----------- After Aden had gotten changed, he and Belle left the house and headed straight to the Diner. They walked down together, hand in hand, until they reached their destination. “Are you sure about this Aden” Belle asked, as they stopped outside the entrance “I mean, you hardly got any sleep at all last night” “Belle, I will be fine” Aden said, chuckling at his girlfriends concern Belle and Aden walked into the Diner and headed straight into the kitchen, where Irene and Roman were talking. Roman waved at the duo as they walked in, whilst Irene just send cold glares to the two of them, however they were mostly towards Aden Sensing the tension in the room, Roman decided to speak up “Okay, Belle and Aden, can you two go and get the tables out, ready for opening time” Roman said “Sure” Belle replied, as Belle and Aden both left the kitchen After Roman had made sure that both Belle and Aden has left, he began to talk to Irene “I really do wish you would give Aden a chance, Irene” Roman said “Don’t start with me Roman, I’m not in the mood” Irene warned, still upset about her argument with Belle last night ----------xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx----------- It was another busy day in the Diner, and frankly both Belle and Aden were pleased that is was over. However, they were not ready for what was about to happen next Aden and Belle headed out of the Diner and began walking up to Roman’s house when Aden suddenly stopped and began searching around in his jean pockets “What” Belle asked, curious as to what exactly Aden was doing “I left my phone inside, be right back” Aden said, as he kissed Belle on the cheek and raced back inside “Long time no see, Taylor,” A voice said, as Belle stood frozen in shock as she instantly recognized the voice She quickly spun around and hoped it wasn’t him, but unfortunately for her it was “What do you want Drew” Belle asked, as she folded her arms across her chest “Cant an old friend just stop by and say hello,” Drew said, smiling at Belle “We aren’t friends Drew” Belle replied “Still as feisty as ever Taylor” Drew said, still smiling at Belle, knowing that he was annoying her “I always liked that about you” Drew then moved closer to Belle, until they were standing practically face to face next to each other “I still think about you Belle” Drew admitted, as he stroked a piece of hair away from Belle’s face “Well unfortunately for you, Belle is with me, so leave her alone,” Aden warned, as he stood next to Belle and held her hand “And who exactly are you” Drew asked, rolling his eyes “I’m Aden, Belle’s boyfriend, so back off, okay,” Aden warned “Boyfriend, wow Taylor, another one” Drew laughed “What is that supposed to mean” Belle asked “Well, allow me to make it easier for you to understand, you’re a slut Belle, you jump into bed with any guy you can get your hands on, or sometimes even two at a time” Drew said, as a large smirk came across his face “Go to hell” Belle shouted, as tears began to roll down her face “That’s enough” Aden said, as he clenched his fists together “What’s the matter Belle, truth hurts doesn’t it” Drew laughed “I said that’s enough” Aden shouted, as he grabbed Drew by the shirt and slammed him up against the wall Unfortunately for Aden, Drew was stronger than he was, as Drew punched Aden in the stomach. Aden instantly fell to his knees in pain as Drew kicked him several times in the ribs “Drew, leave him alone” Belle shouted, as she pushed Drew away from Aden “Some boyfriend you have got there Taylor” Drew said laughing, before walking away from the couple NEXT CHAPTER – Belle takes care of an injured Aden, whilst Irene softens towards the couple
