Aden+Belle forever Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Chapter 10 – Thank You “Belle, I really don’t need to be here,” Aden protested, as he and Belle sat patiently in the waiting room of the local hospital “Aden, you can hardly move your wrist, I think it might be broken” Belle said, concerned “I will be fine, really, can we just go” Aden asked “We can go once the doctors take a look at your wrist, okay” Belle said “But Belle” Aden protested, before Belle interrupted him “No Aden, we are not leaving here until you have seen a doctor” Belle warned “Fine” Aden muttered, as he crossed his arms over his chest in a childish manner “Mr Jeffries, the doctor is ready to see you know” the receptionist announced Aden stood up from the hard, hospital seat and held out his hand for Belle to accept. Belle gladly did this and followed Aden into the doctors room “Hi Aden, Belle” Dr Armstrong warmly smiled at the couple “What can I do you” “Its Aden” Belle said “I think he has broken his wrist” “Okay then, lets take a look,” Dr Armstrong said, indicating for Aden to take a seat on the hospital bed Aden reluctantly took a seat on the edge of the hospital bed, whilst Dr Armstrong examined his wrist carefully Dr Armstrong gently touched Aden’s wrist, and he instantly pulled away from her, wincing in pain “Okay, It doesn’t feel like a break, but lets get an x-ray just to be sure” Dr Armstrong said ----------xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx----------- About 30 minutes later, Rachel returned with the x-ray results in her hands “Are those the results” Belle asked “They are” Dr Armstrong confirmed, as she opened the file and took a look at the x-rays Rachel carefully examined the x-rays before turning back to the couple, who were now sitting next to each other on the hospital bed “Okay, the good news is that there is no break, it’s just a nasty sprain. It should fully heal in about 2 weeks but you will need to wear a cast” Dr Armstrong said Aden just nodded, whilst Belle held his hand, his uninjured hand “If you don’t mind me asking Aden, how did this happen” Dr Armstrong asked “I fell” Aden lied ----------xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx----------- “I cant believe this” Aden muttered, staring at his cast as he walked through the door to the Beach House “Its not that bad” Belle said, as she too walked though the door and shut the door behind her “I should go over there and kick his ass” Aden said angrily “No your not” Belle warned “Just go and sit down, and calm yourself down” “I am calm” Aden protested, “Anyway, who exactly is he” “His name is Drew, he used to be my boyfriend, he was a jerk then and he is a jerk now, I just cant believe it took me so long to realise it, god, I’m so stupid” Belle muttered “Hey, you aren’t stupid okay, he is the stupid one for ever letting you go, I wont make that mistake” Aden said, as he kissed Belle on the cheek “I am so lucky to have you” Belle said “Yes you are” Aden said with a smile, before changing the subject. “Are you sure its okay me being here, I mean with Irene and everything” Aden asked, as he took a seat on the sofa “It will be fine Aden, Irene will understand” Belle replied, as he took a seat on the sofa next to Aden and kissed him on the cheek Aden just smiled at Belle as he placed his arm around her shoulders, with his cast resting on her shoulder “I think your cast is cute,” Belle said, as he looked at Aden’s cast “Really” Aden said, a confused looked on his face “Yeah, I like it” Belle said, before she stood up and walked over to the kitchen and began searching for something “What are you doing” Aden asked “I’m just looking for something, there it is” Belle said, as he walked back towards the sofa and took a seat next to Aden “Okay, give me your wrist” Belle asked “Why” Aden asked curiously “It’s a surprise, just do it” Belle replied Aden reluctantly gave in and allowed Belle to hold his wrist. Belle then pulled out a black marker pen and a devious smile came across her face as she began to write “All finished” Belle said smiling, as she placed the lid back on the pen Aden took a look at his cast and read the message that Belle had written ‘Hey babe, I know you don’t like the cast, but I think it looks cool, and don’t worry, I will always be there for you, no matter what. I love you, Belle xxxxx’ Aden smiled to himself as he finished reading the message “I love you too,” Aden said, as he hugged Belle ----------xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx----------- Aden and Belle had both fallen asleep on the sofa when Irene walked in. She saw that they were both cuddled up to each other on the sofa and smiled to herself. Belle had her arms wrapped around Aden’s waist and resting her head against his shoulder, whilst Aden had his arm across Belle’s shoulders and his head resting on top of hers. Irene could see that they were both happy together and thought to herself “Maybe I was wrong about Aden” NEXT CHAPTER – Aden and Drew get into another fight over Belle
