I'm enrolling at The University of Manchester on Monday to 'read' Law. Since results day, I've been really looking forward to freshers' week and starting the course, but the time has been passing so slowly. Though suddenly, it's four days away and I'm starting to dread it ever so slightly, not helped by the fact that I've got a chest infection and a bad cold. However, I'm hoping that this means that I'm going to be immune from 'freshers' flu' :P.

Good luck to everybody who is starting university or college this month; most of all, I hope that you all enjoy it!!

I mean, I could probably afford to go, I just wouldn't have any money left, and I don't know if I'd get enough money to keep me going if I just had a part time job at night or something, that's why I want to work another year before I consider it... I'd love to do a BA (Hons) in Business & Law, Higher Diploma in Journalism & Media Communications, BA in Photographic Media, BA (Hons) in Fashion Design, or a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance. Yeah, I know, they're all drastically different :P I leaning towards the BA in Business&Law, though, because that's what I ultimately was always interested in and it would satisfy my family :P

Its important to do what satisfies you as this the rest of your life. A lot of people drop out because they do things to please their family and then realize its not going to work. Its much better to do the thing which interests you and which will make you happy even if your family don't particularly like it. Its your life and not theirs. You can combine all of those things these days though, you can do Business and Law with some other subjects too. Have you looked at USA uni's a they do a lot more variety and a lot more combination's of subjects which gives you more choices. They offer lots of scholarships and its often easier to work and study as well.
