Aw, Aden  He's gonna stay for her? But I've got a feeling that that won't be allowed

Loved the bit at the beginning when the Dr was telling him what a great prgress he had made and he was just letting it wash over him because he's not good at taking praise. That's totally Aden.

Cannot wait for more.

I like the Mattie/Belle chapter. It's good that they have that sort of understanding.

It's sweet that Aden wants to stay for Belle but I'm not sure that he'll be allowed.

This might be the last chapter for awhile, I'm going away with college which means no computer and then lots of write ups after, though if i do get near a computer will update, I'll definately try because I know waiting around for this story to end must be getting a bit tedious.

Chapter 25

He ran down the hall not looking where he was going but he knew where his feet would carry him; to her. He couldn’t leave, not now not after everything, he needed her. He needed to see her face and to have her tell him that this would all be okay, that they couldn’t really keep them apart.

He pushed through her door without knocking, he was running too fast to stop without seeing her face, and then he did, she sat staring at him in shock from her position on her bed.

“Aden?” she asked concern coating her voice as she jumped up just as he paused in front of her, he merely stared at her for a second before pulling her into an embrace.

Hugging him tightly to her Belle could feel the panic pouring off him in waves. “Aden?” she tried again her voice gentle but probing. “Aden what happened?”

He didn’t answer; he couldn’t he just stared down at her before closing his eyes tightly and shaking his head.

“You have to tell me what’s wrong Aden!” Belle told him gently though she could hear the panic seeping into her own voice. “Look at me please?” She begged.

“They can’t take you away from me.” he whispered, she could hear his erratic heartbeat against her chest.

“I'm not going anywhere.” she told him laying chaste kisses on his neck and jaw trying to calm him. “Nowhere.” She finished her voice strong with conviction.

“But I am." He told her his voice weak, and she suddenly understood the panic she saw in his eyes which she was positive would now be reflected in her own eyes.

“Oh.” she deadpanned stepping back from his embrace as she felt her own heart beat race excruciatingly.” Oh.” she repeated and her legs gave out as she collapsed onto her bed.

He stood in front of her and she stared up at him as he stared worriedly into her eyes. Silence engulfed them and he realised any comfort he hoped to glean from Belle had all but disappeared.

“I can’t fix this can I?” he asked but it wasn’t really a question, he could tell from the solemn frown on Belles face that they had finally been beaten, that they had survived confusion and fighting and even their own past but this was it for them.

“You have to leave.” Belle spoke up suddenly. “You’re better Aden”

“We can make it work.” he told her reaching for her as she stood from the bed but she moved away from him pressing her back against the door to the room, his tone was begging her. “Belle we can make this work.” He repeated his voice strengthening

“How?” she demanded. “With me here and you at home, not seeing each other or talking or anything”

“It wouldn’t be for too long.” he told her lamely desperate for a solution.

“Seven months. We’re good Aden but we’re not that good.” she told him and she knew she sounded cold but she was just being realistic.

“Seven months?” he asked, “Why seven months? Belle you’re better you could get out of here any day now.”

“And where would I go Aden.” She demanded harshly she was angry now because he didn’t seem to grasp the reality of her situation. “Who’s gonna take me, Amanda sent me back here for using a scissors to work on my bloody portfolio and because I cut my hair, not even my own mother who spent years searching for me wants me. I'm here till I'm eighteen. Seven months.” she finished

“No.” he told her not having any other response to her harsh words.

“Me and Mattie and the rest of the guys, we’re not getting out of here any time soon its not a matter of whether we’re better or not. We’ve got no one to love us but each other our families have just given up; we’ve got nowhere to go. We are nowhere kids.” she explained using the term the resident of the clinic had coined for its permanent patients her voice softened as she took in the broken look on her boyfriends face.

“I'm sorry.” he told her his voice resigned.

“I know.” she responded softly and he took a step towards her.

“I don’t want to leave you.” he told her taking another step.

She smiled sadly. “I know.”

“I’ve never felt this way about anyone in my life before.” He told her as he reached her, but still didn’t touch her.

Belle stared sadly at her feet scared to meet his eyes.

“I know.” She replied and he tipped her chin up towards his face his fingers gently brushing her jaw line.

“I'm scared.” he told staring into her eyes.

A single tear ran slowly down her face before he gently brushed it from her chin. “I know.” she told him her voice barely above a whisper.

“Belle,” he whispered his voice just as quiet as hers. “I love you.”

“I know.” she responded before he dipped his head down to capture her lips in a passionate kiss.

Her hands splayed across his chest and she tugged him closer to her as her fingers grasped at the material of his t-shirt. His hands moved from her face to her hips pulling her tightly against him as she weaved her arms around his neck and her hands into his hair.

Belle felt him tug her gently towards her bed. “Aden.” she gasped as she pulled back. “You don’t have to… we don’t have to.” She told him but he shook his head.

“I want this Belle!” he replied laying her carefully on the bed before kissing her again.

“Aden…” she gasped out as his lips glided to her neck. “Aden,” she tried again. “I love you.” she gasped out as he continued to kiss her. She needed him to know that he wasn’t alone in his feelings for her.

She felt his hot breath move from her neck before it tingled against her ear. “I know.” she heard him breath out before he captured her lips again.

:o That made me tear up! I think this has got to be my fav chapter of the fic! It was just so brilliant!

I love the repetition of 'I know' and the use of the fic title.

I really really really hope they don't break up, and find a way to work. Maybe Roman or Irene could take her in?! :)

Cannot wait for more, but I understand about school. I'll be waiting patiently for an update, and lol, I for one do not want this fic to end!
