Yeah, I wasn't sure if I'd written Roman before, then I remembered one I wrote with Aden hitting on him or something and Geoff getting the wrong idea about everything (thinking Roman initiated it) but that was more about Aden, and it was only short. It was nice to write Roman properly, he's a great character to explore

Absolutely brilliant, Jem. Everything just seemed to flow so easily. It was just so raw and emotional ... I couldn't stop reading. I don't know how you managed to do it but somehow everything seemed content in the end. I agree about Roman. He is a really is an interesting character. All the army stuff he doesn't really talk about - you really used that well and wrote him in such a way that I had to feel sorry for him... and Aden. I adored the ending. Very appropriate.

Thanks. I thought the ending might have been a bit *too* sweet after all the horrible stuff that happened, but... I kind of felt they deserved a moment of peace, even if it was a bit sappy. Meh, my fic. If I want cute little hugs, I shall have cute little hugs
