Belle scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Of course, your dear, old Aunt in Melbourne,” Belle snapped acidly, “What is it this time? Ill? Dead? Tell me Geoff, how do you justify being off work for her funeral on no less than eight separate occasions?” Belle asked him angrily. Geoff smiled. “She is my Aunt!” Geoff shot in defence. “Geoff, this woman has died a total of eight times!” Belle screamed in frustration. Geoff shrugged his shoulders. “How do you think I feel?” He asked her with a small grin noticeable on his face. Belle rolled her eyes. “Now I've got to ring my Aunt,” Belle’s mouth dropped in disbelief, “In Glasgow... I mean Dublin,” He stuttered. “Dead or alive?” Belle shouted. Geoff picked up the phone and placed it to his ear. He turned back towards his friend. “I don’t wish to commit myself at this stage,” He grinned as Belle moaned in disappointment and stormed off. This whole part was hilarious. Belle and Geoff work so well together, in this fic, that if I didn't love your Aden soo much I would have liked seeing a Belle/Geoff pairing. Belle and Aden: And the denial carries on. The joke about forgetting to wash of one of the numbers of his hand was really funny. Melody was good to. First the number thing and then the 'Who's your friend?' line. Seriously, the humor in the fic is so much different then any of the other ones. I know it's because of the show it's based on but still. Quote
Jody Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Sorry about the double post but I can't edit my posts. The Angelo and Belle storyline sounds so good. The interaction between these two is always funny. I forgot to mention in my review, even though I don't exactly want them as a couple(but it would hilarious give everyone a shock), I would have liked to see Belle ask Angelo to be her date. Just for shocked look both him and Aden might have had. Quote

Jody Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 there isn't enough humor I can see what you mean there. But also, for me, something felt a little off with this chapter. It wasn't like the rest. I did still enjoy the chapter though. I liked the part with Mel, Ruby and the grandmother. And Belle's attempt at a chat with Drew was funny. Love and the Coastal Junior Part 4. > Part four and there is no( lets be together kind of) love between Aden and Belle yet. Are you trying to torture us? Although Ruby and Matthew are certainly keeping me entertained till then. Please update soon. Quote

The humor you write is just so brilliant and constant, it's really original! I love how you maintain to keep them in character too. I cannot wait for more. I'm really curious as to whether Belle will find someone else to go with, or whether she'll end up having to go with Aden [which we wouldn't mind at all! ] xoxo Quote

Poor guy, falling in love over the phone with the wrong number girl Sweet thought But yay for Geoff getting Belle and Aden together! At last! I still love the way they call him Spike! I get an image of Aden in a black leather jacket like Spike from Buffy [and that's a very sexy image...] I agree with Laura - brill update and very funny! Cannot wait for the date now!
