darlingg Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 I finished New Moon today and I liked it. After Edward leaving I didn't want to keep on reading it but I did and it was worth it. I love the friendship between Bella and Jacob but I'm in Team Edward
jenlee Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 I finally finished BD last night. I started it a while ago but when I got near the end I kind of stopped reading it as excessively as I was. I didn't like the last part of it very much. I really enjoyed Jacob's book and Belle's first book was o.k. but all in all it was probably my least favourite of all four. I loved Alice the whole time and was gutted when she left lol. Ooh and I love that Roseilie did Belle's hair for the wedding hehe. Like a sister, but not quite a friend Plus I always knew that Edward changed Belle after she gave birth to save her life but I also always hoped that that was wrong because I think him biting and changing her could have been really special and intense and kind of sexual (as sexual as a YA book can be and as hinted at at the end of Twilight), despite the eventual pain lol. I'm going to start re-reading Twilight tomorrow
Laura Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 I've heard so much about Twilight, the film and book. I'm going to have to buy the book.
bay girl Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 There is a poster in Tv Week this week. Of Edward/Rob.
thelonius Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Oh my...I spent the weekend reading Twilight (till 4am even though I had work the next day!!) So yes, I'm hooked now lol. I'm started NM today and it's so hard to read because there's no Edward It was so sad when he left ahh. Woo hoo *jumps on Twilight bandwagon*
Cerise Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 I've told a million and one people this already but... I was in HMV yesterday and I was looking through this rack of like 3 meter high posters and I saw a TWILIGHT ONE! It was so big and pretty, and I looked down to find the poster to buy it, but they had none left
Barbara Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 My French-speaking friend who hates the Dutch/Flemish language just asked me to buy her a Flemish teen magazine with Twilight on the cover because she saw it in a supermarket in Brussels but there was only one left and somebody had taken the pages on Twilight. (Stupid people! A magazine is not that expensive so why don't you buy it instead of tearing out some pages? ). Apparently, now she doesn't have a problem with the Dutch/Flemish language anymore.
valli Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 I'm a bit shocked at the moment. Catherine Hardwicke is not directing New Moon It has been confirmed by Summit. To be honest, I'm worried. Worried that they'll get everything wrong because some losers want their precious Rob to have more scenes
