bay girl Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Michael Copon (The potential new Jacob) has stated on his Facebook that he is the new Jacob... but Summit haven't confirmed it. I would really hate for Taylor to go. I really want Taylor to stay aswell. I read an article the other day that said a decision hadnt been made as of yet. And apparently Taylor had already put on 19 pounds and was buffing up a lot, and that he'd promised the director that he was going to put on even more weight. Lets just hope it helps him keep the role.
teeann_x Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Jonathan Rhys Myers in New moon? Haha he's awesome! I think it would kill a lot of fans if Taylor was replaced.
claire-b Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Im not much of a reader but I mentioned to a friend I wanted to see the twilight movie & she suggested I read the book first so I thought i'd give it a try. OMG it was brilliant, I couldnt put it down, it only took me 2 days to get thru it (a record for me) & now I cant wait to get new moon & read that. Im still excited about going to see the movie but so glad i read the book first. I dont think I will be able to go until next week so i must try & resist watching it on yt. Im itching to find out what happens next. Are the 2nd, 3rd & 4th books as good as the 1st?
Cal Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Claire-b, New Moon is awesome. It's my favorite out of four books so far. Eclipse is great, too. But there are some parts that can drag on too long (for example, the storytelling around the fire on the cliff was far too long. I think I skipped a few paragraphs ). Breaking Dawn is good. It can get a bit tedious due to it's size, but it's a really good story and it ties up a lot of loose ends. The internet uploads of the movie are kinda crap. The color is all wrong and the video-camera doesn't get all the screen in so there a few missing pieces. I went to see it in cinema after watching it online. The first shot of Bella was completely different. When I was watching it on my computer, I was like "Why the hell is she standing in the sun like a fool?!"... and then I saw it in cinema and I realized that she dug up a small cactus as a souvenir, something I couldn't see on the pirated version. It all made sense after that.
Cerise Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 ^^ Same here, that's the first thing I noticed when I saw it in the cinema! New Moon is my favourite, Eclipse is great but like Cal said a few bits get boring so it's not the best book for re-reading (I still do it though), Breaking Dawn is... well, yeah, it's good. It really depends on your taste. The science aspect of it is ****ed up, but as long as you dont think about it you should be able to appreciate it.
claire-b Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Thanks Cal & Cerise I will definately wait till I can get to the cinema then & im even more eager to read new moon now
.Amy. Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Did you know that the whole movie is on you tube? It isn't on youtube, but Ive got an OK quality version and If you want the link to download it, PM me I'd like it
jenlee Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 The first shot of Bella was completely different. It all made sense after that. Well now, that's interesting lol. I had wondered that too haha. I'm going to see the movie tonight at the cinema and can't wait. After the first time I watched it, my "computer" version started to crap out just after Bella leaves her fathers and they arrive in the garage so I'm looking foward to seeing the end again and seeing the baseball scene on the big screen and the rest lol
Cal Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 ^Enjoy The DVD release date for Twilight in the US in February 14th... (How corny! ) $19.99 for the standard DVD, and $22.99 for the two-disc special edition. I don't know how long the wait is for Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. I think it's only a few weeks after the US release, but I'm not sure.
Cerise Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 I think I'll order it from the US (Two disc special edition, duh! ), it's usually quicker for me.
