Just want to say I like the new system. I was sceptical at first & a bit wary of posting but now I am fine with it.

One of the good things it does, is make me think before posting, & anything that gets my brain working has got to be a good thing!

I know it cannot be permanent, but I am enjoying the moderators having to preview it, as it means no silly slanging matches in the threads! I mean it is one thing to disagree & discuss but some of it was getting just plain childish!

I also want to say thank you to all the moderators, it cannot be easy keeping a track of all the posts to approve or not!

Yes it must be very difficult for the moderators to keep approving the posts and you’d think that once people start getting used to this new system the volume will only get larger and larger. As great a job as they are doing at the moment you wouldn’t think this could really be sustainable in the long term. But I myself like this new system and feel the results have been very encouraging so far as if you know look in some of the threads there is now very sensible and stimulated debate amongst pro and anti factions for various characters.

Hats off to the moderators!

It takes longer than usual to check them because we are having some technical difficulties. We have to check it manually which is a pain. :P But I hope that sorts itself out!

And thanks for all the positive feedback!

I like the changes in the Character/Actor Appreciation forum. It must take a lot of time to read all the posts. I really appreciate the work you guys are doing. :)

But I noticed in a few threads that a lot of people are commenting on Australian episodes but they don't use spoiler tags. I thought it was better to use spoiler tags until those episodes aired in the UK.

Personally, I don't mind reading spoilers, which is a good thing because I don’t think I would be able to come on BttB if I didn’t want to read them. Seeing that Belgium is far behind, most posts would be spoilers to Belgian viewers anyway. And Belgium is not the only country that is far behind.

But I thought some UK members didn't download the Australian episodes or watch them on YouTube because they only have to wait a few more weeks to see them on Channel Five. If they go in some threads, they'll find spoilers.

Yes I have to agree with Barbara.

I’ve already noticed in at least three different Character Discussion threads there have been spoilers without the tags, although some of them might have been before Cal pre-warned everybody yesterday about using spoilers. I’m at UK pace at the moment and don’t watch the Australian episodes on You tube and will probably have to stop posting there for a little while because I keep running into spoilers.

Many apologies if I have posted spoilers for UK viewers! (slaps own wrist) I thought it was okay as long as not a spoiler for Aus viewers.

However I can see, that for the Aus viewers, it could be incredibly difficult for them not to accidentally post spoilers, as they do not know what we have or haven't seen in the UK. I think we are about 5/6 weeks behind but I am not sure. I really do not know if there is a way round this problem, unless there is a character forum in the UK section. Although I am guessing that would involve more work for everyone!

We can add spoiler tags when we approve them, but we may not eb able to catch all of them as most/all of us staff watch at Australian pace and might not know where exactly the Ukers are, but we'll try out best to add tags to any post :)
