Thank you, laineyloo, we really appreciate that. It's always a bit scary when we make a big change, and it really helps that people are being supportive and willing to give new things a chance :)

Hi I just wanted to say that I really like the moderators checking posts it has helped a lot in cutting out the spam and encouraging discussion. One thing I would like to say (and I hope this doesn't make me sound like too much of a moaning old bag) I don't like the aspect of having anti and pro people discussing in the same thread. I used to avoid reading anti threads because they annoyed me and now I have no way of avoiding anti threads. This isn't some 'rose tinted' thing its just that I feel as if all my posts end up becoming arguments against what other people have said. For me the kind of discussion I want to have is discussing what I like about a storyline and what I want to happen next not continually going over why I dissagree with the person above over things like perception of chemistry etc. and now I can't avoid it.

Could we not still have seperate anti and apprectiation threads but have them with the moderators checking posts like now?

^ I have to agree with Frogg.

It Kind of feels like everyone has come and decided to post more Anti than Pro. It does feel like instead of discussing the situations and the episodes the characters are in you are always defending your opinion which in a way isn't bad but then you end up with pages of people saying ...I agree, but... etc.

Other than that I think Its great how the Mod's preview the posts. It has helped alot and there is defiantly a lot more people on the threads which I like :)

Oh and Mods I think you are doing a Fantastic Job!

I'm finding it hard to actually have a discussion to be honest, no one's replying! I think maybe they're being put off by the changes which makes me sad because if we actually take the time to have proper discussions the new threads could be great!

If it's taking a little long for the discussion to get going it could have to do with the fact that we're taking a little long to approve things because we're experiencing some technical difficulties (big surprise there :P) with the mechanism that lets us know when there's an unapproved post, so we have to check everything manually. We try to approve as fast as we can, and I don't think it should take more than a few minutes, so don't give up on that just yet please! We're working on it, and I'm sure it'll be more active again as soon as everyone knows that the forum is back up, and get used to the new system :)

As for the whole issue with the anti threads and all, I get where you're coming from. I can understand that you're not always feeling comfortable posting because you feel like you're just disagreeing. However, one of the main reasons why we decided to create this new system was that people were also feeling uncomfortable with the anti and pro system because it got to a point where a lot of people felt like it was a competition where they weren't welcome to disagree and start a discussion, and where people were trashing their opinions (in lack of a better expression, please excuse me, I have my head full of a lucture I'm writing :P) in the other thread. Basically the essence of the new system is that we think it's better to keep it to one thread per character/pairing, which is also part of the reason why we temporarily have made the forum MP; in order to make sure people don't start figthing.

Unfortunately I think it's impossible to have something that works for both sides on this issue, but the way it is now seems like the lesser evil, which means that we're really hoping people are okay with seeing that people don't always agree with them. Abusive, rude or mean comments shouldn't get through our approval system, but if it was to happen, please use the report button, and it will be dealt with if we've made a mistake!

Basically what you need to remember is that you're entitled to your own opinion, but at the same time we can't deny people to express that they disagree, as long as they stick to the rules. You shouldn't feel guilty about disagreeing with people, your opinion is worth just as much as anybody else's :)

I'm sorry if that wasn't very helpful, I'm not even sure it made as much sense as I hoped it would, but again, we appreciate the feedback, and hopefully these are just small issues that will solve themselves as people get used to the new system :)

But I don't want to disagree with people I just want to discuss the storyline and with this new system I feel as if I have to get is involved in the anti/pro debate which I don't really want to do. For example if I want to start a discussion on for example "what would you like to happen next for Belle and Aden" I know its a waste of time because half the people will just reply, "They should break up, they have no chemistry, they don't belong together" which they are entitled to say but what I really want to discuss is potential storylines not they should be together or not. Do you see what I mean? I just feel like I can't have a proper discussion anymore.

I love the new system of moderating each post. I think that is great but I think mixing the posts is going to cause more arguments than less. Surely with moderated posts it would be enough to cut out those posts where people are just posting for the sake of raising the post count?

Sorry for moaning.

Hm, I'll be honest (which is probably going to make me sound like the stupidest mod ever :P) and say that I wish I could come up with something brilliant to solve your problem. My best advice would be to post your opinion anyway. You don't have to answer to the discussion, you're definitely entitled to just post your opinion and don't have to answer to people disagreeing with it... I'm sorry, I really wish I could give you a better answer, because I understand your position here (I often post my opinion about the Australian episodes, but I hardly ever discuss it) but I'm afraid that the best answer to your problem would be the old system, which in the first place was the source of about three times as many problems in the first place... Did that make sense?

Sorry for not being able to be more of a help, but we hear what you're saying, and every opinion we get will be taken into consideration when we evaluate the system. Unfortunately I'm afraid that's the best I can give you for now :/
