So Belle would not deliberately hurt anyone but it's very plausible that it might happen.

In Belle's case, I think it is now only a matter of time before people other than Nicole start seeing the signs. And yes, maybe something really bad will have to happen to give Belle - and everyone else in her life - a wake-up call.

I agree that Belle wouldnt deliberately hurt anyone. But in her current state of mind it is very possible for her to get herself into the situation were Ollie could find the drugs, if Nicole found them that easily them im sure a three year old kid could. I think that would be a great story to give Belle the wake-up she needs.

Hopefully its not much longer till everyone finds out and then Belle will get the help that she needs.

I'm actually finding it hard to care about Belle, mainly because she's brought it all on herself.I actually think she did come across as self-centered during the development storyline.Her motives may have been altruistic but she acted in an arrogant and self-obsessed manner, deciding that she was the only person who could save the town from a vaguely defined threat(which as far as I can tell is still there) and thinking she could treat people as badly as she liked to get what she wanted.So it's hard to feel any sympathy about the fact it's backfired on her.

I am really starting to dislike Belle. She is getting really boring and I miss the old Belle. She was so much better when Ric, Drew and Mattie and the others were around. She just annoys me now and I don't feel sorry for her at all and she used to be one of my favourite characters Nicole should definately tell Aden the truth!

Ive never really 'liked' Belle if im being honest. I prefer the old Belle to the Belle we are seeing now. I just find her whiney and annoying at the moment. Hopefully this drug problem is over with soon and maybe we will see the old Belle again.

For me, I am taking into consideration that she is obviously not well. She is taking the drugs for a reason, and it's no wonder she is becoming annoying, whingy etc, because that is what drugs will do to you. It is not the Belle we all know, therefore I can forgive her for the way she is behaving, because the bottom line is she is having problems. I am sure that she will get back to her old self once she has sorted out all of her problems, not just the drugs, but the reason for why she started becoming addicted to pills. As much as the becoming attached to pills/drugs, I can understand why it happened. She went through so much in the last 7+months, as much as I don't agree with it, it does happen, and it has happened to Belle, and I am sure that once she acknowledges that she needs help, she will get that help, and start to become the person she once was. It will take time.

I think she became annoying and whingy before the drug taking. When this whole development site thing started to happen is when I began getting annoyed at her. She just became even worse after she started taking the drugs. Which i guess the drugs are partly to blame for that. I can understand why she started taking the drugs because she has been through a lot in the past few months. I just hope it doesnt get dragged on for too long.

I think Belle in week 12 is it? She collaspes due to a overdose. Maybe she gets

really worked up about Aden dumping her and she feels overwhealed and takes too

many pills.

Being selfish, deceptive, mean, and an out an out liar as become second nature to Belle in the last few weeks. I hate what she is doing to herself and the way she is treating the people around her who care for her. It's down right frustrating at times to watch. But thats what makes this storyline even more gripping, for me. This kind of behaviour is what is expected for someone with a drug problem. And the fact that it's happening to a main character and one that you wouldn't normally think would go down this road, makes it even more appealing. The proper build up over a long time made it all the more believeable and enjoyable then having it shoved down our throats from the beginning. To think this all started with the developement site.

It's not hard to understand why Belle can't seem to bring herself to confess. Theres been times where we have seen that she wants to. And that she realises what she's doing and doesn't like herself for it. Aden doesn't deserved to be lied to but then again noone deserves that. But at the same time Belle doesn't deserve what she's going through as well. She never became this way because she woke up one day and thought 'drugs are cool, I wanna do that'. She was sufferring, sufferring that was brought upon her when she was busy trying to shed light on something that was making people sick and killing them, and it ended up taking her down a horrible road. She's not completely blameless in it and she made her own choices but I find I can sympathise with her because I can understand what led to it. The idea and popular opinion that Aden derserves better then her because of her issues(and because for once she couldn't handle it and life got the better of her) just makes me sympatise with Belle all the more for not being able to bring herself to come clean. I'm guessing that opinion is similiar to her own thought process at the moment.

i think people are being to harsh on belle having a drug problem dasent make u a bad person its a cry out for help and shes been through atote she reminds me of Sam belle has it a bite more easier than her but she still going through a really hard time it just surprises me how people can turn on characters like that that's why people like belle spiral even more out of control

Jody I love reading your posts lol, they are so in depth. And I agree with you 100 per cent. Like I said before I dont believe that aden deserves to be lied to. But I hate when people say that he deserves someone better than belle. He deserves honesty from his girlfriend. But belle is suffering. Im not saying doing drugs is acceptable its just her way of dealing with something she doesnt know to handle by herself. She needs help, support and love from the people around her. Belle cant just get over this in a day, she cant just say okay this is enough I dont want to do this anymore, she certainly doesnt want to take the drugs, but she is so dependant on them she doesnt know how to give them up. Its a bit like smoking...
