I hope she is on the show for a long time. After Sally left I wasnt as into home and away as I was, like I would watch it everyday but only because it was part of my routine. Now Im loving it again and loving Rachel! Her and Tony= best couple since Sally and Flynn. Quote
xavier=hot Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 i think rachel only started sayinf "don't you want them to leave" because it probably wasn't something tony had even thought about and she was reminding him they could go elsewhere. she was only saying it to try and help him out, shes been really undersatnding since jack died and has really been there for tony even when she hasnt felt great about situations, shses just put that aside to try and help him out. you can tell she really loves him Quote

crazylazy Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 completly of topic - but rachels hair im thinking it is curled using curling irons as it always looks so nice - even when she at lazing around at home or gym when she first come the curls were really small but now their big curls and i want to know how its done - any ideas? Remember when she first arrived it was a lot more wild and curly than it is now. I think now it's more natural, i think it's so pretty right now. It's gotten really long and frames her face really well. I think Rachel has been great so far this year. It's been awful for her but i think she's just trying so hard to keep everything together that sometimes she doesn't go about things in the right way - especially the situation with Hugo and Xavier. But her heart is always in the right place, and at the moment i think the only thing she cares about is Tony and not putting him under any unnecessary stress or pressure, hence not wanting Hugo and Xavier in the house. Amy has been great as usual. Really excited about the rest of the year! Especially the baby being born Quote
champagne_char Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 I think another kidnapping would be ridiculous so that better not happen Rachel was kidnapped by the Believers in episode 4252 so she could deliver Tasha's baby when Mumma Rose wanted to induce her. She told Mumma Rose that Tasha had some sort of medical problem and a natural birth would probably kill her and the baby. Then I think she had to go back to the hospital and get some supplies and wrote some sort of note for the nurses to see when she was pretending to write patient notes. Rachel tried to stop Mumma Rose from injecting Tasha but she couldn't. But help came in time and Tasha was rushed to hospital. As for Amy in Gabriel.... the only clip on youtube I have seen is this deleted scene. Wow, she looks so different...and was that an American accent I heard? Gosh guys, so much discussion has gone on in here since i've been away, thanks its been really interesting to read! Emmasi, although I don't always agree with what you saying (me being a huge Rachel fan) your post are always so well written and interesting to read. Keep posting because if it was all Rachel lovers in here it would get abit boring, its nice to have something to debate about, and especially about a character who everyone feels so strongly about! I think most things have been covered RE last weeks episodes, one thing I thought would have been nice is if Rachel bought a pic of the baby scan back to show Tony. Quote

Didn't Amy train in the US? So she probably picked the accent up quite a lot when she was over there... KirstyEkua Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 (edited) I was watching an old episode with Brad when he said he never had to worry about her because she's always had 'inner resilience and strenght.' Then Leah commented on her 'zest for life.' I just thought that summed up Rachel really well. I like how they've been consistent with Rachel, as soon as anything goes wrong she bottles it all up and just works like a maniac. I also love her frienship with Leah - it's been fantastic since the beginning and think it's great they've been there for each other through everything. Edited February 12, 2009 by KirstyEkua Quote

I hope she is on the show for a long time. same here I see Jon is also there till 2010...maybe one couple can walk off into the sunset living happly ever after and not have one killed off because someone was leaving!!! anywho at the moment Tony is her only consern...and really she was justified with what Xavior did and if we believe the latest spoiler its going to get alot worse before it gets better The writers should write leah in more to help rachel, and why havent we had them write in a scean where martha tries to get through to him (that might work)...its so annoying Edited February 12, 2009 by sportzgal82 Quote
