Looks like Rachel is on to Belle going by today's episode. Does Belle really think Rachel is going to believe she found a packet of Valium on the floor?

Looks interesting though, i kinda thought Rachel would be involved in Belle's drug addiction.

I think her bump is starting to look a lot more realistic now. I love how she is starting to hold her back and rub her bump a lot, and rest her hands on it. It's really cute :)

Rachel looked fab today. I loved her outfit, she looked like a yummy mummy to be  Very chic. And her hair is so pretty when it's long and down like that, i hope that's what it's like for the wedding.

I liked her stuff with Belle today. Ity was pretty silly of Belle not to realise Rachel would obviously found out about her getting pills from different docs, and though she was way out of line talking to her the way she did. But i'm glad Rachel knows so hopefully Belle can get help. It was a bit strange Belle calling her 'a friend' but i guess they went through the Aden drama together, and then the whole development stuff.

ts of you have totally misinterpreted what I meant. Rachel has been obsessed with having a baby for the past two years. Now she is finally pregnant and must be so estatic. In that sense touching her bump is very true to character. She finally is getting what she's been hoping for. Touching her bump is like her way of reassuring herself and reminding herself about the baby. It's also like a protective thing. It's highlighting just how important it is to her to be pregnant.

Yes I agree, but I also think she's scarily obessive with becoming a mother and the constant touching of the belly is really irritating.

I don't think she's scarily obsessed. Yes she's always made her desire for a child obvious, but when you're her age and in a secure relationship then that's usually the next logical step. And there was a period of at least a year when she didn't even mention having children.

I love the touching of the bump. My friend was the exact same when she had her first baby - i think it's just natural for some women to do.

I'm still wishing they'd explore the relationship with her dad at some point. Surely at the back of her mind she's wondering where he is?

I dont think shes scarily obsessive at all !!

There are some characters that are scary but thats not for this thread.

Rachel is allowed to touch her bump every now and again because she has waited so long for it to happen and shes obviously over the moon about it.

If you think Rachels touching of her bump is irritating I dont even want to know how you feel about Belles behaviour

When you have lost a child, touching your bump and feeling the baby kicking is a reassurance that every thing is okay.

Belles behavior has a lot to be scared about.

Yeah Belle is just freaky aint she !!

I agree grumble about how it gives some women a sense of security to be able to feel their baby alive and well inside the womb seeing as Rachel did miscarry very shortly into her pregnancy in 2007

I'm just glad Rachel seems to be back at work again, i always love her hospital scenes. It was great seeing her in scrubs again, it's been a while! Although i do wonder if they're ever going to address the issue of her pregnancy affecting her work? Becasue surely it's not a job you can do the more advanced your pregnancy gets.

And i would like a mention of her mother at some point too. That would be nice...It seems when people die they're forgotten so quickly. And as i've said her father too, i think they could really do something with that.
