^ That's the impression I'm getting - that he just doesn't care, right now. I hope someone can get through to him because it's really hard to watch him self destruct but I think that's a credit to Todd. Everything he does makes me believe that what Aden's going through is real.

Yeah I understand that but still you think someone who went through abuse he would understand sex is special and wouldn't just sleep with randoms. People are responsbile for their own actions and Aden made a choice even if he was able to separate the emotional and physical side of sex.

Lise I agree with you, its so believeable. You see loving, happy and the good side of Aden and you believe the character. He's sweet, friendly and loyal. But then the next mintue he can be completly vulnerable or be a complete jerk. Todd's acting is amazing

Did you see the look on Aden's face. I think it was a classic acse of "the lights are on but no-one's at home" Aden is emotionally dead at the moment. I don't think that any thing he does is making any emotional impact on him at the moment

Edit: So maybe Aden did it because he's feeling so numb that he wants to feel other emotions other than sadness, anger and lonliness? I'm still trying to make sense of the situation

I agree with both points about Aden sleeping with this random - I'm just so disappointed that it's happened ALREADY get someone into that house to sort him out, quicksmart I say!

Him closing the door on Irene did make me laugh in suprise though!!

It would be good if this stuff with Aden using alcohol to try and cope with what's going on led to a scene with him visiting Larry at some point.

I like that idea, Jody. Aden's doing what his Dad did and taught him - whenever anything went wrong Larry turned to alcohol. Your parents are meant to be your role models and teach you how to deal with situations and Aden, right now, is following his Dad's example. To be honest, I never expected anything else from Aden because he's shown it in the past but it still makes me sad.

It would be nice if they could arrange a release from prison or something for Larry to see him and try to make Aden see sense.

i agree because the only person that can help aden now is himself, and someone else that has been in a similar situation, and talking to his dad could be really helpful, and sad
