Melody is not very easy to discuss as I can never tell whether she is brinkering on insanity or whether she is actually insane, she can't in my opinion be very consistent, she is in denial about the accident which is understandable but then again she didnt admit to it till Jai had a go at her & good for Jai, he had every right to do that, Melody has to see that her actions have consequences and she doesnt seem capable of doing that to be completely honest.

I think Melody has been interesting to watch since she came to the bay but lately she has become increasingly boring, although i am looking forward to seeing

her running away scene's

, i think that might tail me back over to her side, plus i think she need to give Miles a break, the poor guy spends more than half his time worrying about her and what she's going to do next she's that unpredictable.

Miles has done nothing but be nice to her and took her in to his home and then she goes on like that! I think something is seriously wrong with her!

she's going to leave. I'm really going to miss her character. But atleast Dan confirmed that she will be getting an happy ending.

You're right, I suppose that should be some comfort to us Melody fans. I'd still rather she

stayed around for a longer time. Melody is a character I'd like to see grow up and finish high school. There's so much potential for her.

Compared to her the rest of the teens are so incredibly dull. At least Nicole has some spark, although I don't really like her, and the writers seem hell-bent on destroying Ruby. Which leaves Geoff, Annie, Jai and Xavier, all of whom are rubbish in my opinion.

Melody leaving really is sad news.

^ What makes this even worse for me is that Melody finally seems like she is on her way to getting better. And excepting Miles help. I was looking forward to seeing her rebuild her life slowly.

But now unfortunatley we won't get to see that. There was so much more they could have done with her. They are losing one of the few complex and interesting characters on the show. I can't believe the teen characters that we are now stuck with.

Nicole and Geoff are a joke. Jai and Annie have the potential to be sweet but are just annoying and pointless. Xavier is just horrible. And Ruby, who used to be the only other teen apart from Mel I loved, is now just painful to watch.

Not to mention my dream of Archie arriving and sweeping Melody off her feet is now dead

Oh god, I've been dreading this day.

The writing was on the wall in the first week of the year when they blamed her for the accident and expelled her, making it impossible for her to be involved in storylines.I could come up with a very long list of characters I'd rather leave than her, including the supposedly most popular.

I am just so angry and upset right now.

I know, I thought we could have potentially had a lovely couple in the future, but alas it is not to be. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this news, but I've gotten used to being disappointed by the direction the show is going more and more over the last 6 months or so.
