Belle is so fiesty in this fic. I miss fiesty Belle on the show.

Love the Aden and Belle banter.

Two of my favourite parts have to be when she held is hand and refused to let go. And that cute scene where he spelt those two words on the paper and sent it to her.

I'm a bit Meh about this chapter. Been revising for my exams, but I took a break to write this.

Chapter 9

Roman wasn’t even sure why he had came to Aden house. He had seen Aden earlier that day, and it didn’t seem as though he had been home recently, so he was sure he and his father still weren’t agreeing. He just wanted to see whether or not Aden’s father, Larry, could try and sort things out. Knocking on the door, he heard a sudden intake of breath and then a large bang and the sound of smashing glass.

Intrigued, he peered through the frosted glass panes, seeing a small figure standing in the main room, but not able to see the face. He figured it was a female by the petite frame, realizing then how little he knew about his family. He had never met his mother, and he has no idea whether or not she was still a part of the family.

Meanwhile

“****!” Belle exclaimed before quieting her voice. Her eyes flickered between the front door, the bathroom door and the photo which she had knocked on the floor. As quiet as possibly, she ran up to the bathroom, knocking on the door

“Aden!” She hissed and then realizing that whoever was at the door knew she was there and was now peering through the glass. She knocked again, this time louder before sighing, realizing that he probably couldn’t hear here over the loud noise of the shower running.

She didn’t really know Aden, he and his father had had a row and they probably shouldn’t be in the house. And with Aden in the shower, it was just here, snooping around a stranger’s house. She felt invasive and like she shouldn’t be there.

Another knock on the door, forced her to reluctantly walk towards it, knowing that whoever was behind it, new she was there and most likely wouldn’t give up

Opening the door a fraction she looked out to see the confused face of the man who worked at the diner, although she had no idea of his name

“Uh Hi” She said shyly, opening the door a little bit more, but no enough to let him through.

“Hi, It’s Belle, right?” he said, remembering from when he listened to Aden and her introduce themselves to each other

“Yeh” she replied unsure what to stay next, causing an awkward silence to fill the air

“Umm, Is Larry here?” He asked “Or Aden?” He added hopefully.

Belle turned her head to look at the bathroom

“Just one sec” She said pushing the door slightly shut after indicating for him to stay where he was.#

She ran back over the bathroom door and knocked again like before. When he didn’t answer, she banged the door loudly.

“Get your arse out here now!” She said annoyed he hadn’t heard her.

She heard the shower turn off and waited as he got out and put a towel around him.

“What!” He said aggravated.

“There’s someone at the door”

“Oh great” He said sarcastically “Who is it?”

“I dunno his name. The chef dude” She said vaguely

“Joy!” He said rolling his eyes “Tell him I won’t be a minute”

“Uh.. Ok but I think I’m just gunna go” She said “I mean, I don’t really know you and I Just feel like I’m being way to intrusive!” She explained

Aden was kind of disappointed that she was going to be going, but then realized he didn’t want her there if he and Roman were going to be talking and nodded in response.

They stood in silence for a moment unsure of the way in which to say goodbye

“Ok then..” She said shattering the silence “I’ll see you later”

She leaned in quite unexpectedly, and planted a small delicate kiss on his cheek, surprising both herself for managing to take the courage to do it, and him because he had no idea it was coming.

“Bye” She said shyly and watched as he blushed slightly.

“Bye” He said turning as headed back into the bathroom to get dressed in order to talk to Roman. Before shutting the door, he turned and watched as she headed back towards the door, telling Roman he would be out in a minute. He smiled at her, before meeting eye contact with Roman, breaking it off immediately and returning to the bathroom

I love how you are writing this, its so different to the other adelle fics, seeing as they have just met each other.

I agree with xknomex, I like the way you've made this fic different just by the fact that you're starting with Belle from the beginning, yet Aden from now. I love how they're both so similar yet different.
