Luc Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 Okay, Belle it is! I've been writing for a while, but had to start again a few times to try and get Belle's personality right, I haven't finished, but here's a preview of the third chapter I giggled. I tripped. I fell. I landed on my back. I giggled again. “You okay Belle?” I heard a voice from behind me ask. Without standing up I nodded. I cringed as my fingers were trod on a few times by eager party goers. I looked up and saw Geoff walk into the room. “Geoff!” I yelled excitedly. He looked around for the person calling him. “Down here!” I called out to him. He looked down and saw me on the floor, “How much have you had to drink?” He asked me, I paused for a moment, recounting the events of the night, “3,” I told him raising four fingers. I noticed the mistake and broke into a fit of laughter, “Glasses?” He asked me, I giggled again, “I can see just fine!” I snapped, looking up at my husband’s best friend, “No, not those kinds of glasses!” He informed me angrily, “3 glasses of wine?” “No,” I began, “Bottles!” I laughed as he did, “Here,” He said to me, offering his hand. I grasped it tightly and allowed him to pull me up. I stood on my feet for about 5 seconds before tumbling over again. I broke into another fit of laughter, before yelping in pain as a high-heeled foot stood on my hand.

Luc Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Thanks guys ! Belle's POV will carry on to next chapter . CHAPTER THREE I giggled. I tripped. “Watch where you’re going you silly old bitch!” I called out. Geoff shook his head and reached out for my hand again. I clasped it tightly in my hand and stood up. I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly. I picked up another bottle of wine from a nearby table, “I think you’ve had enough,” He shot at me, prising the bottle out of my fingers; I let it slip out of them reluctantly. “I think it’s time you went to bed,” He informed me, I rolled my eyes. “I’m still... I’m still fine, I could go for hours,” I slurred, before loosening my grip on his neck. I slipped and landed on my back, again. “Okay, okay,” I muttered, suddenly tired, I watched as he partially knelt, getting ready to lift me up. He slipped one of his arms under my legs and the other under my neck. I heard him grunt as he lifted my off of the ground. “Where to?” He asked as he got to the stairs, “Second door to the right,” I whispered, suddenly feeling tired. I closed my eyes slightly and allowed Geoff to carry me up to my bedroom, my head hurting with every step he took. I heard the creaking of a door and suddenly I was on something soft. “Do you want me to get Aden for you?” Geoff asked me softly. I could sense a certain hostility in his voice as he mentioned Aden. I shook my head, my eyes still closed. I heard as he made his way to the door. “Goodnight Belle,” He muttered. I opened my mouth to respond, but before I could, I heard the door creak shut. I soon drifted off. *** I woke early that day to the sound of the bedroom door opening. I didn’t open my eyes, as I could hear his footsteps coming closer. “You look like s*it,” He informed me. I opened my eyes and giggled lightly. I rolled my eyes. “Thanks,’ I told him sarcastically. He turned on the lamp next to me. I closed my eyes as the bright light entered the room, “Turn that light off!” I snapped, pushing a pillow over my face, “Not until I see if you’re okay,” He told me, concerned. “Does your head hurt?” He asked me. I suddenly became aware that my head was pounding, “Yes,” I mumbled, almost inaudibly from underneath the pillow, “Remove the pillow,” He said to me. I shook my head. “No!” I shouted, “Please move the pillow!” He commanded, “I’ll turn the light off in a minute, just let me see your face,” I reluctantly removed the pillow, squinting as the harsh light reappeared, “Open your eyes please,” He said to me quietly, “You’ve got to be kidding me!” I exclaimed, “My head already feels as if it’s going to explode!” “Do you want to die of alcohol poisoning?” He asked me sternly. I opened my eyes and closed them again; deciding dying of alcohol poisoning would be a lot less painful. “I think you’re okay,” I heard him mutter. I opened my eyes again as soon as I heard the light click off, “I could have told you that.” I grumbled. I felt as Aden climbed into bed. “What time is it?” I asked, “Five,” He said, wrapping his arm around my shoulder, “I fell asleep in the library,” He added, “Did Geoff find you last night?” I asked him. Aden didn’t answer, “Did you talk to Geoff last night?” I asked him again. There was a short pause. “No. No. We didn’t speak,’” He finally replied. “Night babe,” He muttered. I turned around to face him. Aden was already asleep. “I love you,” I muttered, before closing my eyes. I drifted back off to sleep.
