wrongturntaken Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Loved the Mark and Aden scene. That whole scene was brilliant. I can imagine Tyler being shocked by seeing Aden like that. And to think a while back he was feeling uncomfortable because they looked like the perfect happy family. For a moment there when Aden mentioned that Mark doesn't know whats it like to have a terrible father I thought he was going to accidently slip and say something about him. Love the way Belle told Mark to go to bed at the end. Another nice thing was Belle accusing Tyler of getting Tess drunk. I liked how she immediately apologised and didn't doubt what Tess said. Sorry overprotective mother mode - love that line. I meant to do a quick response to this at the start of the chapter but i forgot. I just wanted to say that i felt it was quite ironic and showed how far the characters have come that Tyelr considered them to be a 'normal happy family' considering every one of them had very troubled family lives as kids and teenagers. A kind of foreshadow of hope you might say for Tyler... oh and just a snippet btw, i sometimes go back to read everyone's comments and the ones after the prologue always make me giggle because some of you were worried i was going to split Adelle up and it was something i never thought of because the fic was so direct with where i was taking it... Just thought i'd let you in on that, need something to cheer me up at the mo so thank you, lol... Anywhoos thanks for listen to me blabber and stuff... P.s. The cryptic clues will make more sense, i think, when i tell you who they're about, but that could be days away... or hours...
Lise Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 That was awesome. You had nothing to worry about. I loved the chat that Aden and Belle had. It all makes so much sense now. I hope that Aden does make it Mark's game. Those clues are very, well...cryptic!

Jody Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 I really enjoyed this chapter. Aden and Belles talk was perfect. I love that he told her why hes been acting he way he has with Mark. It's so understandable now. Also loved that part in the end with Mark and Aden. Hope he goes to the game. Tess was funny as well. I really liked the scene in the kitchen with the whole four of them together. Those cryptic clues sound more confusing than the ones we get for the show so I'm not even going to try and figure it out. Please update soon.

(Aden/Belle) (Tyler) 3.Paradise Lost... (Tess/Tyler) 4.Secrets kept... finally told... (Tess/Tyler) 5.A person lives on in memory to help... (Tyler/Roman/Miles) I realise these aren't really cryptic as they don't give anything away but they might make a tad more sense now you know who the characters are. The different colours are different plots although 2-4 have a lot to do with each other.

Especially number 2. Can't wait. Although still not going to try and guess(even if it's a little easier now) because trying to figure these things out always makes my head hurt.

That talk between Belle and Aden was magnificent, and I can understand why he felt that way. Am so glad that they've sorted it all out now. Hopefully, it'll last! Cannot wait for more xoxo
