That was beautiful!

Awww...they did lose a baby. I liked the flashback.

I like the wedding. The vows were good, the humour in them was funny. The dress and the song are great.

That was just so sad, but I loved how you ended it, otherwise I'd probably be sat here with tears in my eyes for about another hour!

The song and the dress are beautiful! And the voews were a greaet mix of humour and AOL stuff.

Cannot wait for more! I'm so glad that we got some answers in this chapter :D

Lovely chapter.

I love them realising that if they hadn't lost Jamie then they proabaly wouldn't have taken Tess in. And that maybe everything hapenned for a reason. It was sweet.

The preparation for the wedding was funny. I liked Cassie being there. She was one of the characters that I couldn't stand on the show. Absolutely hated her. Yet I always love when she shows up in Adelle fics. It's always a pleasure seeing Cassie, Belle, and Matilda in the same scene. The old group of friends are so much more fun than the characters Belle gets lumped with, in fic, now.

The part with them losing the baby was sad. But I loved Aden reassurring her that it wasn't her fault.

And the vows were adorable.

Please update soon.

Thank you for the comments! This is a pretty big chapter so i hope i've done it justice, it was quite hard to write.

Warning: scenes of a sexual nature

Chapter 18.

Tess rolled on the floor struggling underneath Tyler's weight as he tried to wrestle the remote from her with a tickling method. "Mercy!" she cried but Tyler didn't give in. "Please!" she added with a hint of begging in her voice Tyler couldn't refuse. It was the Saturday evening of Aden and Belle's anniverary weekend and the young couple had been hanging out most of the day.

"Fine, you win," Tyler sighed. "…but don't expect our relationship to always be like that. I'm gonna win at some things too."

"Sure," Tess nodded patronizingly at him, "You just keep telling yourself that," she ruffled his hair as she flicked to the channel she wanted and then stood up as they heard a knock at the door.

"You're not even watching it!" Tyler yelled as she left.

"I'm coming back!" she yelled back at him as he rolled his eyes and went to change the channel anyway.

She answered the door to see a man, she guessed in his early 40s, stood there, "Hello?" she questioned.

"Hi, is Belle home?" he asked in a low voice but something about his posture and tone was unnerving to Tess and she kept a hand on the door, ready to close it at any second.

"No, she's gone away for the weekend with my Dad," Tess answered him.

"Ah okay," he nodded, seemingly graciously.

"I'll tell them you called, Mr.…?" she asked.

"Just tell them an old friend wanted to see them, I'll try again sometime," he told her and checked her over in a way that made her feel very uneasy before turning to leave. She shut the door and made sure to lock it.

When she walked back in to the living room she discovered Tyler had found an action film and settled on that, "Hey!" she exclaimed before curiosity got the better of her and she quickly became focused on the TV, "What's this?"

"I thought you didn't like action films," Tyler mimicked.

"Horror films," she told him, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, "…but as long as action films have hot guys in, then I don't really care about the plot," Tess explained

"You're so superficial," Tyler laughed, "Besides, you have a hot guy right here."

"Then why don't you turn the TV off and we can go upstairs," Tess suggested plainly.

Tyler laughed without taking his eyes from the screen, "Funny Tess."

"I'm not laughing."

He looked at her suddenly, "What?" he exclaimed and immediately used the button on the remote to turn off the TV.

"I'm serious, let's go upstairs," Tess suggested again.

"…and do what exactly?" Tyler was beginning to worry.

"I don't know… what couples do…" she shrugged, smiling at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Um…" he started nervously, "Okay then," he answered, taking her offered hand as she led him upstairs to her room.

As soon as they entered her room, Tess turned to face him, wrapping her hands around his neck and kissing him. He returned the kiss, his lips parting hers slightly as she felt his tongue slide occasionally in and out graciously and his hands settle on her waist. She continued to pull him backwards as their kisses became simple pecks so they could try and not fall over anything. They got to the bed and she pulled him on top of her as she lied down. She pulled his T-shirt over his head to reveal his bare chest, as he placed himself carefully above her, being careful not to put any weight on her.

She kissed him softly and pulled back to look in to his eyes and she knew that she wanted to be with him. She moved her hand down to the flies of his Jeans when she was stopped by his hand on her wrist.

"What are you doing?" he said suddenly and slightly out of breath.

She bit her bottom lip nervously, "I was thinking we could…"

He looked at her blankly, "Could...?"

She sighed, "…do it?" she said hopefully.

He seemed frozen in time as his body stopped moving, even his chest movements indicated he had stopped breathing, "You want to do… it?" he asked slowly.

She nodded as a small smile graced her lips.

"…but Tess, we've only been seeing each other a couple of weeks, don't you think it's a bit soon?" he tried to put her off.

"Maybe," she shrugged, "…but I know that I really like you and this is the perfect time. My parents are away and Mark is staying at a mates. We have the house to ourselves… all night," she looked at him suggestively.

He moved back from her so he was kneeling on the bed, as she levered herself to lean on her elbows.

"Tess…" he started, unsure what he was actually going to say to her.

"You do want to, right?" she asked him.

He looked at her, she was beautiful he thought, and he would like nothing more than to do what she asked. But it was a lot more complicated than that and he could never tell her why, "Of course I do, I just… …have you done it before?" he asked tentatively.

"No," she whispered and shook her head slowly, "Have you?"

He shook his head too, "No."

She smiled, "Then our first time can be together, it'll be perfect."

"I still don't know," Tyler continued.

"It's okay Tyler," she sat up and ran her hand over his clavicle, "I'm ready," she told him; misconstruing his hesitance as concern for her because she was a girl.

He stayed silent for a minute, running a hand through her blonde hair and looking at her lovingly, contemplating his options, he could do this, he thought, he did really like her, "Okay," he said softly and pushed her gently back down so he was lying on top of her again.

He kissed her once gently and looked in to her eyes. There was something different in this kiss now; they both knew it was about more. He did it again and pulled away to look over her body. She saw him looking down from her breasts to her bottom half and could tell he was imagining undressing her. He once again repositioned himself before trailing kisses down from her jaw to her neck as she felt her chest rise up and down as though her breathing were separate from her mind as she looked at the ceiling in waiting, unsure what to do with herself.

She moved her hand slowly down to his jeans and began to undo his flies. She felt him tense up and so kissed his neck to soothe him. He relaxed slightly but she couldn't keep the kisses up as she felt his hand run under her top and clasp at her breast. She took a deep breath, feeling unease at his touch, she wasn't sure it was meant to feel this way but she had nothing to compare it to. Of the thoughts that ran through her head, the one that stuck out was that she should accept what Tyler was doing because she had been the one to suggest that they do this. His weight became heavier on top of her as she tried to pull his jeans down. He pulled back from her suddenly and she felt relief spread through her.

I can do this, he thought; I just have to do this bit myself. He removed his jeans and then went back to his original position, missing the obviously fake look of excitement on Tess's face because he was so wrapped up in his own emotions. He could feel himself visibly shaking at the effort taken to block the images from appearing in his head. She considered it nerves as she felt her own body shiver involuntarily in nervousness and excitement, at least that's what she put it down to because it was too hard to accept that she might not want to do this. They were too far gone now, she couldn't stop him because that would just make her a tease and she didn't want to be that.

She ran a hand down his chest and he took that wrist and held it above her shoulder, forcing it to stay on the pillow as he kissed her neck and gradually made his way down as he momentarily removed his hands from her wrist and undid the buttons of her blouse. She didn't move her hand from where he had put it because she didn't know what she was meant to be doing. She let him kiss down from her shoulder to the middle of her breasts where her bra was clearly visible to him. She looked to the side, away from him, feeling uncomfortable, this wasn't how she imagined it; it didn't feel right. He hovered above her, moving so they were face to face so he could kiss her lips, moving his hand to hold her left wrist in place once more. She didn't want to take it away from Tyler now. She used her other hand to approach his boxers, nervously intent on discovering what was inside, when he grabbed her wrist and moved it to hold in the same position as her other hand but on the other side.

He began to kiss her with more force, Tess didn't know what to do but respond as he forced his tongue inside her mouth. He eventually removed it to kiss down her neck again.

"Tyler," she whispered, feeling powerless and scared as he held her in place.

He didn't hear her.

Red.

It kept flashing in front of him. Just the colour, it made him feel sick as did the images that it formed. Black and Red formed the memories, the people, the events. He remembered them as though from a different place than he actually was, leaving him powerless to do anything. He wanted to scream to make them stop.

Reality.

He just had to cling to her; she was real, the images were not. If he could keep her there, feel her presence beneath him, then he wouldn't have to think about the colour, the memory.

"Tyler," she said a little louder as she started to feel the force of him on her wrists and couldn't move her legs out of the way as much as she wanted too. "Stop," she whispered as she felt silent tears escaping her.

Yet again he didn't hear her, and instead tightened his grip.

"Tyler!" she yelled, tears finallyy falling as he jumped back from her; shock appearing on his face as he clambered away from her, off the bed and in to the corner of the room.

"I'm sorry," he whispered. "I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?"

She shook her head and sniffled back the tears, "No," she lied, resisting the urge to rub her wrists where he had clung to her so tightly. "Are you alright?" she asked softly, taking her self off the bed and approaching him cautiously.

He nodded slightly, "I can't do this, Tess," he told her quietly.

"It's okay, we don't have to…" she began to explain.

"No," he shook his head, "I mean I can't do this," he gestured to her and then himself, "…us," he clarified.

"What?" she asked in surprise. "Tyler, we don't have to break up," she said although her words were laced with disbelief.

"We do," he seemed to gain some confidence as he spoke. "I'm sorry Tess, I guess I just don't like you."

"Yes you do, you said you do," Tess told him, trying to convince herself that she hadn't just offered her virginity to someone who did not care about her the way she cared about him. She was starting to feel angry that he had almost allowed her to sleep with him if he hadn't felt strongly about her.

"No, you said you really liked me. I've never once said it to you," he explained.

"…but I thought…" she started.

"What?" Tyler laughed, "That you were about more than just being a hot girlfriend I could have whenever I wanted?"

She stared at him silently, trying to regain control over her breathing, "How dare you," she spoke slowly and in disdain. "Get out!"

"Gladly," he retorted.

"I hate you! Get out!" She repeated, picking up his clothes and throwing them at him, one piece at a time, fighting tears about to erupt as she yelled and moved towards the door, forcing him out backwards.

He caught his clothes and left the room just before she slammed the door in anguish. He ran down the stairs before putting them on and leaving the house, leaving Tess to clamber on to her bed and curl up in a ball, letting the tears flow freely now she was alone and wishing that her mother was there to comfort her.

She had no idea that as soon as Tyler was out of the house, he too broke down, sliding himself down the outside wall and crouching; his face buried in his hands as he let the emotions of guilt and shame run out of him in a waterfall.
