Chapter 19

It was the 28th with a couple days before New Years Aden was starting to get nervous. Although Belle did talk to him on Christmas day briefly she had been ignoring him. Pretending not wanting to marry the love of his life was starting to consume him. “Geoff I wish it was New Years already, I hate Belle being so anger with me.....how can she seriously believe that after 4 years being with her I wouldn’t want to marry her” Geoff and Aden were watching the football, Geoff took a sip of his coke and waited a few seconds before replying “Maybe its because its been 4 years! That’s a long time to be with someone without asking for their hand in marriage” Aden could see the lack of interest in his face. “I hadn’t had the chance to propose Belle and I have been busily caring for other children, plus now feels like the right time”. Geoff was more focused on the football not wanting to offend Aden he simply nodded and let out a deep breath “Mhmmm”. Aden rubbed his forehead with an anxious facial expression, usually he would be in the mood to watch the game but all he could think about was Belle. “GEOFF....WHERE’S MY GUCCI BAG?” Nicole yelled from the kitchen Geoff was about 6 metres away, yelling was just unnecessary. “I don’t know” Geoff said in a normal tone. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT KNOW?” Nicole screamed back. “Why is she in the kitchen...do you think you’ll find a bag in the kitchen” Aden said to Geoff and then hopped up from the couch and left the room. “NIC, why are you looking for your bag in the kitchen?” Geoff also got up off the couch and headed over to the kitchen. “I’M NOT LOOKING FOR MY BAG IN THE KITCHEN, I’M COOKING LUNCH” Geoff slightly backed away from here standing in front of the kitchen bar. If he got to close she might deafen him.

Geoff looked across to the bench where she made been making lunch, and what she was making wouldn’t be consider on earth as a regular meal. “Hey...Nic, what ya making” Geoff used ya to make it seem more casual so it sounded like he didn’t care. ‘GOD HOW DUM ARE YOU? WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE I’M MAKING” she slapped down the peanut butter she was using. “Why don’t you tell me honey bum” he said in a flirtatious voice. “I’m making a sandwich with peanut butter, salami, tomato, pepper, cheese, honey and chicken.” He didn’t know what to say without sounding harsh. “Gee that sounds delicious...” Nicole took a bite out of the sandwich “Want some” she asked holding out the sandwich with honey oozing out of the bread “Ah no thanks” he said backing away from her making out like he had to grab something of the table. After Nicole finished her sandwich she stormed up the stairs in search of her Gucci bag. “What’s up with her” Aden came back into the living room. “I’m not sure...she’s snapping at me....when I’ve done nothing wrong” Aden looked relieved at least he wasn’t the only one who was dealing with the crazed female species. “Look, the way I see it...us guys have to stick together...I guess man will never truly understand what goes on inside a women’s head” Aden placed his arm around him encouraging him to forget about Nicole. “Yeah you’re absolutely right!” he punched him in the arm. “I sure am” he smiled. “Okay I’m off” Nicole pranced down the stairs holding her Gucci handbag. “Where are you going?” Aden asked. “Ummm....I’m going....out....WHERE DO YOU THINK I’M GOING” clearly she was hiding something; Geoff didn’t bother to interrogate her in case he made things worse between the two. “Bye” he kissed her. Little did Geoff and Aden know she was on her way to the chemist to buy a pregnancy test. Unexpectedly Nicole ran into Belle, she was buying some vitamins. “Hey Nicole, what are you doing here” she asked casually not suspecting anything. “Ummm” she scratched her head thinking for a believable excuse which was something she was never good at. “I think I’m pregnant” Belle looked at her with more interest. “Why would you think that?” she asked quickly. “Because this morning I made this really weird sandwich and the scary thing is I enjoyed it” Belle looked relieved and laughed “Nicole, just because you make a sandwich with strange ingredients doesn’t make you pregnant” Belle continued looking at the shampoos. “I know....but this morning I felt really moody and kept yelling at Geoff” Belle looked at her still not convinced “So you yell at Geoff sometimes when you wake up in the morning” Belle explained trying to convince her to calm down. “Whatever I’m still buying the pregnancy test” She walked over to the stand where they were and grabbed it confidently, all she wanted to do was find out if she was pregnant or not. “Will you be there when i do it.....just you know so I can say I told you so” Nicole really needed the extra support she couldn’t ever imagine herself as a mother. “Sure not a problem” Belle smiled at her, she knew what it felt like taking a pregnancy test, anxious but excited, a little scared, all the emotions flooded her mind at once.

“Hello again princess” Aden said mockingly.

“Shut up” Nicole stormed past him heading for the bathroom.

Belle walked in behind her. “Hey Aden” she blew a kiss at him, he sighed finally she was talking to him again. “Hey beautiful” he was sitting on the longue. Belle walked over to him and sat in his lap. “I just wanted to apologize for my behaviour” she kissed his neck, hoping that he would accept her apology. “That’s okay....but you know....I’m a little afraid of you know” he gave her a scared look. “Why is that?” she leant in closer smiling at the fact that she had freaked him out. “Well....maybe because you’re a crazy hormonal lunatic” Belle gasped “Oh well after that comment mister I’m not going to have sex with you now” Belle got up off her lap. She was only teasing him as he knew he couldn’t resist her despite the fact that she was pregnant. Aden got onto his knees and begged “I’m so sorry sweetheart....you’re not a lunatic...But you are hormonal...and sometimes even crazy....but that’s a good thing...” He stuttered hoping she would reconsider her offer. “Well alright....” Belle rolled her eyes with a massive cheeky grin on her face. “Bed time” Aden said as he grabbed her waist and led her up the stairs.

Chapter 20

“Belle” Nicole yelled out to her, she was waiting in the bathroom for ages. Belle had completely forgotten about Nicole. “Coming” She looked at Aden he had fallen asleep, it was only 5:30pm but it seemed much later. When Belle opened the bathroom door she found a pile of magazines dumped on the floor, it looked as though she had been reading several magazines. “Sorry about that” Belle sat beside her looking at her as if to say are you alright. “Time your time” she said sarcastically rolling her eyes. She closed the dolly magazine and opened the box tugging the pregnancy test out. Her hands started to shake Belle’s instinct reaction was to comfort her “Hey it will be alright, whatever happens” she placed her arm around her, wiping away her tears Nicole managed to gain enough strength to stand up. “I’ll call you when I’m already” she closed the door with Belle waiting outside. A minute later the door opened “Now all we have to do is wait another freaking 2 minutes, it’s not like I haven’t waited long enough” she sulked. “Yep, its torture” Belle and Nicole quietly went into Nicole’s bedroom and closed the door gently. Belle didn’t want to wake Aden and Nicole didn’t want Geoff to come up the stairs or know she was in her room. They sat on the bed, Nicole’s nerves were contagious Belle was now feeling it as well. “I don’t think I’m ready Belle” Nicole broken the 30 second silence. “Why not?” she looked at her watch she desperately wanted time to go faster. “I just don’t think I’ll make a good mother....can you seriously see me being a mother?” Belle looked away from her eyes and watched the test “Sure why not...” she didn’t quite know how to react to this question she thought Nicole might make a good mother with some practice but she had her doubts. “I personally think some people are born to be mothers....like you Belle” This comment had made Belle feel emotional.

Her mother had died when she was only 5 years old. Her mother was in an abusive relationship with her husband, Belle’s step father. Belle’s real father left when she was 3 years old and her mother married again only to find unhappiness in the relationship. Her step-father never hit her mother they only verbally abused each other. The abuse had eventually taken its toll on her mum and left her feeling depressed. Days before Belle’s 5 birthday her mum killed herself. Her step-father always lied about the true cause of death, but Belle knew the truth as she found her mother on the bathroom floor with blood on her hand and arm. Her mother and step father had two kids of their own. They were her half sister and brother. When Belle was 6, her step-father, William started to molest her brother. A close friend of the Taylor’s called the police and he was taken away on sexual abuse charges. He is now in jail. Belle was taken into a foster care home. Her brother and sister were separated from her; they too were put into foster homes. A couple of days after Aden had revealed that he was abused as a child Belle came clean about her own past. “You really think I was made to be a mother” Belle could hardly believe that she was born to be a mother. “Yeah, because you’re so kind and caring towards kids, for example with Ollie you’re great. You treasure him, he absolutely adores you....and so will your children, mine wont” she laughed at her last comment. “Nicole look” the colour was changing. “Oh my god” Nicole held the test closely to get a better look. “What...what does it say...?” Belle leaned over to see the test. “Positive” Nicole’s eyes widened. Belle mouth dropped out. They both froze with horror.

Nic's pregnant too? Lol! Aw, that's sweet! Feel sorry for the guys though - two pregnant women in the same house is going to be a nightmare.

Cannot wait for Aden to propose. I hope it'll be in a typical Aden style :lol:

Chapter 21

“Oh no, please no more pregnant women!” Geoff said loudly outside the door. He had been listening into their conversation.

“Geoff!” Nicole fell off the bed accidently.

“Nicole, are you alright?” Belle jumped off the bed to see if she was okay. Lying on her back Nicole shed a tear.

“He knows.....Belle....” she said worriedly, looking at the half open door. Geoff rushed down stairs with his heart pounding frantically.

“Yeah that’s seems pretty obvious” Belle said offering a hand to help Nicole off the floor.

“Hey what’s wrong with you?” Aden asked Geoff. He was sitting on the couch watching 24.

“Oh man! It’s gonna be a nightmare around here for the next 9 months!” he shouted over the television.

“Why?” This comment caught his attention which made him turn the TV down.

“Nicole is PREGNANT!” Geoff threw his arms up in disbelief and shock.

“Gee tell the whole world” Nicole said with frustrated voice, she was still getting use to the idea that she was about to become a mother.

Aden was left speechless, “Good for you princess, and good on you bible boy for knocking her up”

“Aden!” Belle spoke up, excusing his rude comment.

“So we have two hormonal women in the house now.....what fun that will be” Geoff slouched onto the couch.

“Guess we’ll have to stock up on ice-cream.......chocolate................anything with sugar.....” Aden said trying his best to **** Belle and Nicole off.

“Ha-Ha...you think being pregnant is all fun and games” Belle snapped at Aden, appalled his behaviour.

“Yeah, you two aren’t going to become massive, have cravings, mood swings, not to mention throwing up your breakfast every single day” Nicole complained. Aden found it hilarious that Belle and Nicole were both pregnant at the same time.

“Come on Nicole, obviously these two don’t have the empathy to understand what we’re going through” Belle headed for the door. “Yeah....let’s go Belle....leave these two idiots with their TV and beer” Nicole stormed off following Belle out the door.

“So do you think Belle will say yes to your marriage proposal now?” Geoff asked stupidly causing Aden to hit him with the cushion.
