Chapter 28

Ben and Rachel stood there for several minutes staring at Aden waiting patiently for him to let them in. Aden completely froze with shock. He couldn’t believe that Belle’s brother and sister were standing right in front of him. “Can we come in?” Ben asked politely. “Oh” Aden snapped out of his day dreaming fit “Yeah sure” He welcomed them inside. “Aden how was that -” Belle walked into the longue room and stopped as she saw the unfamiliar faces. “Belle I’ve missed you so much” Ben stood up from the couch and hugged his sister. “I’m sorry; I don’t know who you are...” Belle didn’t embrace the hug. “Taylor it’s me, Ben. Your brother, remember?” He said taking deep breathes. Belle hadn’t seen her brother since he was 11. “Ben!” she started to cry. “And this is Rachel remember?” Ben pointed to his little sister. “Oh my god, she’s so beautiful” Belle was in tears, Belle and Rachel hugged each other tightly. Belle stroked her hair; both of them were in tears. Ben started to get emotional too. He dreamt of meeting his big sister again, Belle meant everything to him. She was taken away from her brother when they arrested Belle’s step-father as he was charged with countless acts of child abuse. Ben and Rachel were put into a foster home together but as Belle’s mother was dead and her father disappeared, Belle was put into a separate foster home. “I’ve missed you so much” Belle looked at Ben. Belle was the only one who knew about his father’s horrifying acts. Rachel had no idea, Ben simply told her as she grew up that their father was arrested for accidently killing a person in a hit and run accident. Before Belle could agree to Aden’s marriage proposal Belle had to tell him the truth about her brother’s past despite her brother telling her to keep it a secret. “By the way I’m Aden” Aden shook both Rachel and Ben’s hand. “Hey” Ben smiled. Ben and Rachel noticed that Belle was pregnant “When’s the baby due?” Rachel asked straight out. “Umm a few months” Belle told her sister, it even she hadn’t seen them in ages Belle felt like she was still close with them, she didn’t feel at all unconformable with sharing personal details about her life. “Aden is my fiancé” she told the two. ‘Congratulations Taylor” her brother rubbed her back smiling at her. “So are you two going to stick around?” Belle asked hoping they would. “Yeah of course, we actually have a place in the city” Aden felt like an outsider, he wasn’t sure whether he should’ve have left so the three could talk, but he stayed. “It’s a mansion” Rachel added. “Rach....please” Ben said feeling unconformable he didn’t want to give the impression that they were rich snobs. “What, I was just pointing out” Belle smiled at the fact that her brother and sister were actually standing in the same room as her. Geoff and Nicole arrived home from the hairdressers “Ben, Rachel...this is Nicole and Geoff. They live here too” she introduced them hoping Nicole wouldn’t say anything stupid. “Hey” Geoff and Nicole spoke at the same time. “Nice to meet you” Geoff shook hands with Ben. “Well this certainly is perfect timing, you’ll get too meet you’re niece or nephew, and you’ll be at my wedding. This is so awesome” Belle felt excited. “That’s fantastic Belle.....oh man that means I’ll be an uncle” Ben said looking scared but showing a small smile. “Yeah and mate that will mean I’ll be a father, how scary is that!” Aden said with his eyes widening. “Oh get over it you two, I’ll be a mother. I have to practically do all the work, the breast feeding, waking up early to feed the screaming child, I have to endure 9 months of hell” She listed with a exhausted tone, “But it’s all worth it in the long run” Nicole added stroking her stomach. “It sure is” Belle smiled.

Two weeks had gone by and Ben, Rachel and Belle became close once again. They were still like they were as children. They hadn’t changed much at all. “Have you thought about any baby names yet?” Ben asked reached for the salt to sprinkle on his chips. “Yeah we have a few ideas” Belle said before stuffing a large piece of fish into her mouth. “Like what?” Rachel asked as she opened a can of coke. “Well, for a girl...Aden and I were thinking.....Lily, Adelle, Hannah, Bree, Sonya, Bonnie, Sydney....” Ben‘s eyes widened he had no idea that his sister would have so many girl names in mind. “What about for a boy?” Rachel asked with her mouth full. “Vaughn, Ty, Chris, Sam, Luke...” Ben nodded as he liked some of the names. “Cool...but do you have any defendant baby names?” Ben asked again hoping for a defendant answer. “Well I like Hannah....I was thinking if we had a girl and named her Hannah her middle name would be Lee. So that makes Hannah Lee Taylor-Jefferies” Ben’s smile grew bigger “I love it, so cute”. “Any defendant names for a boy?” Rachel had finished her plate of fish and chips. “I think Aden really likes the name Ty, so yeah probably Tyler Jefferies” The three smiled together, Belle and Ben were still finishing off their meals. “What are we doing tomorrow?” Nicole walked into the living room with Geoff “Well, there is a special discount of bowling this weekend” Geoff picked up the coupon and showed Belle and Nicole. “Sounds like fun” Belle giggled, Nicole on the other hand looked unimpressed “Sounds like a disaster”. Aden walked in overhearing the conversation “So it’s agreed then, the six of us will ALL go bowling” As he said the word he looked straight at Nicole. She frowned at him but he just smiled.

Wow, her brother and sister are in town. I hope they don't cause any disasters or anything.

Bowling will definately be interesting :D Esp with Belle and Nicole :lol:

Cannot wait for the next chapter.

This is a good story, and very well written - enjoying it and its certainly helping when there is no on screen action...

I have noticed alot of people like writing about Aden / Belle and most of the stories end up in the same way.. not that im really complaining though as I do enjoy reading them. just think something focused on other people would be good too - no couple ever makes a show.

of course, by no means am I directing this at the author - cause that'd just be mean - just expressing my opinion
