Lesley Bee Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Hello everyone All this talk of Peter Baker and Christmas has just gave me a mental image of Peter in a santa costume Anyway i just come in to have a moan, Christmas + crowds = disaster Ok i was in a shop yersterday looking for a few last minute gifts, this woman just shoves me out of the road to get in Then i'm standing in, an already massive, queue and people keep cutting in before me. Honestly some people are just so rude
Mrs Bishop Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Get your own back next time shove in your self I cant stand people like that theres nothing wrong with manners they dont cost any think, its just like doing the shopping yesterday cos I know a few of the girls you get chatting but the looks you get as if there saying ! how dare you?"
Lesley Bee Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 ^ I know its terrible, people just don't have common courtesy any more
Miranda Posted December 7, 2008 Report Posted December 7, 2008 Oh, I don't know, I enjoyed my Christmas shopping yesterday  No, Janice, I don't have the time or energy to go thinking about men these days. I am too busy really My crushes only last a few days, too fickle
claire-b Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Hello everyone, can I join your gang? I dont know about mature but im definately an older member although I often still think of myself as being 20. I have a 4yr old daughter who has just had a hip operation & has her legs in a spica cast so therefore can't walk & she will be like this for another 10 weeks, aaaarrrrggggggg I think im going to go crazy. She cant go back to school until after xmas, She has to be lifted from bed to sofa to wheelchair, she has to go to the toilet on a bedpan, she hasn't had a full nights sleep for 2 weeks which means I haven't & all she does is watch high school musical followed by hsm 2 all day, so I need to escape from time to time & BTTB is where I like to come. Ok so enough of that lets talk christmas. I haven't bought any cards yet let alone written them. I haven't bought a single pressie & have no clue what to buy, I hate shopping & keep putting it off but I will have to brave the crowds sooner or later. The females will be easy to buy for but as always what do you buy for the men, I struggle with this every year. Does anyone have any good suggestions? BTW Peter Baker doesnt really do it for me.
