Barbara Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 I started baby-stting when I was 15. I still do. I had my first student job when I was 17. I worked in a bank for a month during the summer holidays. I had to make copies, send faxes, sort out the mail etc. I didn't have a lot of things to do. You would think that was great but I was so bored the first week. After that, I always took a book or something to keep me busy. The people I worked with were really nice and we laughed a lot.
TachelHolden Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Mine was a paper run but i couldn't really call it mine as i had my mum or brother do it all the time for me when i couldn't be bothered or it was raining outside and i didn't want to walk.

And I still work there during Easter holiday and summer. I really like it because the girl I work with is really nice and my boss is very friendly. And I get to taste the choclates My younger sister also worked there during the summer and now she works there permanent so next summer she will be my boss
Miss Tan Tan Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 First job was working in an Ice Cream shop. Got left alone on my first day for 4 hours, In the middle of summer at a beach it kinda was CRAZY!! But I loved it got free Ice Cream!!!

Traceve Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 I worked over the Chritmas/New Year break when I was 15 as a stock fill at the local supermarket. After the break I, along with about 5 others got laid off because the holidays were over and the joint went to being dead again.
HAA Girl 08 Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 I worked as a babysitter for the kids in my street. I was the one of the oldest, so all the parents would dump their kids with me and go out with each other. I'd be left with 15 kids under the age of 13!
