-Kevin- Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Are the credits scrapped now? All we have here in Ireland is the Logo and "Previously on Home & Away" and then it blacks out into the episode. They are the same in Australia! I don't know for sure but it looks they have been scrapped...

stevester Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 Its true i feel the same its lost the spark of the 90s as it just looks cheap now and has not got the bling there anymore,ive been watching the show from day 1 and used to love it when people come and go and then to see some change to the credits with folk added or un credited from the creds,so yes i agree.

~Lynd~ Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 I had a rant at the start of the thread about this.It's stupid they've decided to scrap a part of the shows history.The majority of people want them yet they choose an extra minute of the show.A minute.Big whoop! At the end of the day it's their decision but I think it shows a lack of respect for the show and the majority of its audience.

They're sunny, happy, show us the show's location, who the regular characters are, their relationships to one another and a glimpse into their personalities, everything in only 30 seconds! It also has natural backgrounds instead of CGI ones, so it's not true that those kind of openings are a thing of the past. Why can't Home and Away copy Neighbours, just this one time, and make credits like these on the beach? If Neighbours can do it, Home and Away could easily do it too. HOme and Away used to have much better credits than Neighbours, I think it's time for competitive mode again. I hate the excuse that credits take a long time from the show, every episode of both H&A and Neighbours usually has a few unneccessary filler scenes, scrapping one of them for a titles sequence would not be a great loss.
martha-jack Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 I don't watch neighbors anymore but the new credits are nice and simple, why can't home and away just bring credits back please? its only a minute of the show, they put some things in episodes that just don't need to be their and could fill them spaces with the credits!
