2004 - 2008. Four out of five of my favourite characters ever (Rocco, Sam, Dani, Peter) were in this period (Dani less so). Strictly speaking, I really loved the "golden era" of the mid-90's, but I was a young child then, so I probably see it through rose-tinted glasses.

I voted for 2004-2008. It was great years. But i think 2008-...will be great too, because it's already had incredible storylines! :)

200-2008, I really enjoyed Martha's entrance, as well as the Holdens. But the Stalker business and the Sam/Johnny Cooper and Martha and Jack's barnyard wedding explosion were really on-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of viewing.

But 2008 onwards will be even better, but we'll have to wait and see <_<

Oh yeah, and Tash and Robbie!

I've always watched Home and Away and I think the writing and acting has got better and better each year so I've gone for 2004-2008! I'm sure 2009 + will be even better still :D

2004-2008 easy. I loved Drew/Belle, Cassie/Ric, Amanda/Peter, Tasha/Robbie, Sally/Fynn and Beth/Tony. Along with the stalker storyline and Flynn's cancer.

2008 to me was the year of Aden and Belle because the show spent so much time focusing on them that we really didn't see much of anyone else, or at least that is what it felt like. Belle had that huge development site storyline, Aden had the huge abuse storyline put them together and Aden and Belle had the longest and most airtime worthy story lines. They were good to watch but it was too much. In 2008 I found around half of the r/ships boring and forced, they weren't as natural as they used to be. I miss the old haa :(
