Chris J Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Unfortunately it seems to be affecting everyone at the moment - Dan removed the online list to see if that would make any difference to the speed, but it doesn't seem to have made much of a difference. I'll speak to the hosts and see if we can find out what's going on. EDIT - I made some changes yesterday, so if anyone who was previously having issues has noticed it getting better, can you please let me know. Quote
Jezz Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 It's improved slightly in contrast to Friday but still quite slow in comparison to the speeds that we were generating before this issue arose. Hoping everything is fine with the forum and this can be resolved. Quote
Summer_Bay_Sunshine Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 The issues are very intermittent, sometimes you can browse the site/forums and all seems ok, other times incredibly slow with server error messages popping up. Hopefully normal service will resume shortly. Would be good to have the online list reinstated though.... ☺ Quote
Dan F Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Whilst the Online List and other features being disabled don't appear to have made a huge difference, we'll be keeping them off for the time being just in case - they'll return once things are (hopefully) back to normal. It's pretty clear to us that the fault isn't at our end, but the hosts aren't being very helpful. As soon as we have any further news we'll let you all know. Thanks for your patience! 3 Quote
Chris J Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Really sorry that the issues are still ongoing - it's very frustrating for all of us. I've not had much time the past few days to investigate, but am doing all I can to try and find the source of the issue at the moment. The issues are almost certainly going to carry on for a few more days at least, but we'll get there - even if it means having to take the forum offline for a day to move us to a new server.
