Technical Issues

I just saw this thread from the home forum, so I thought I'd just mention some phone issues I'm having. 

1. There seems to be a virus on this board that only tries to attack my phone, not my computer. I don't have the problem with any other sites, so I don't know if it's your end or my end, but maybe something to check up on?

2. It keeps asking me for passwords to the Australian and Spoiler forums even when I'm signed in and have already been in those forums. This happens on both my computer and my phone, and I thought it had something to do with switching between the two devices, but it's happened now a few times when I haven't used my phone at all. I can't tell you how many posts I've lost because I get redirected to a password page when I hit post. 

I don't know if either of these things are problems with the forum but I just thought I'd mention it. 

I also get the resource limit error, but that hasn't happened in a while.

In notification settings and under messenger and I receive a message the option to turn on to get email notification is broken

There doesn't seem to be any issue with the forum itself, as far as I can tell. What happens when it "tries to attack your phone" exactly? It's potentially a rogue advert loading a popup, which shouldn't be happening - but if you can let me know any more details, I can look into it further.

That's an odd one - I'll report this to the company that makes the forum software and see if they have a solution.

Yeah, I get the resource limit error a little too frequently as well - I'll see what I can do about this.

Yep, that was disabled for some reason ... you should now be able to go in and turn the option off

The virus/pop up thing only happens occasionally. I'll try to take notes next time  I usually just panic and close the window lol. 

The signing in thing is annoying though, thanks for trying to fix it

I finally got a notification today! Haven't had one in a VERY long time. So thank you for fixing it.

Dear BTTB forum/site maintenance team,

I wish to draw to your attention a problem that seems to have cropped up. Some words at the end of lines appear to be splitting themselves in half with hyphens. Has the forum software introduced this as a new bug?

This seems to only happen when you are typing the post, but when you actually submit the post it doesn't appear like that, it just looks normal.

Apologies for the downtime we've experienced today, our hosts are having to deal with an ongoing DDoS attack which took down some of their servers.

They're currently managing to mitigate the attack so things are stable for the moment, though there's no telling how long it will go on so do expect some possible performance issues.

Obviously we know there's glitches every now and again, but if there's a major ongoing outage like today then we'll usually update our Twitter page to let you know.

I am wondering why I haven't been getting any notifications from my readers for my fanfiction.

Yes I had turned on 'Notify me of Replies' and turned on my notification settings.

The last notification I had for my fanfiction was four weeks ago and then now I haven't been getting any notifications for my fanfiction.
