Hi folks, not so much a issue as such but I didn't want to start a new thread just to ask a question - would it be possible to reactivate this thread:

Link

so I can post in it please?

Many thanks.

Hey, I tried to post in the ‘Are you unsure?’ thread but that’s been archived! So will ask here.. have just,as usual gone to include emojis in my post in the Australian Episode discussion thread. I clicked on the smiling face as normal and it bought up all of the emojis available on my iPad,which I use to post on,not just the ones that BttB usually have and it also doesn’t work when you type the words to create them either  or  or :P - I hope that’s not worked as I’ll look a right and indeed left idiot..

Anyway, enough of me, as ever! :PJust wanting to make sure it’s not just me or to see if there’s anything I need to do to correct it? Thank you :)

There's been an update to the forum software, so all the extra emojis you're seeing are the ones provided with your device as well as the originals, which will obviously be different for each person (though there is the option of us using in-built packs again so everyone sees the same thing, which might be better).

The old shortcuts weren't working initially, but just this minute seem to have started working for me  If they're still not working for you then you can also use the search box that pops up with the emoji panel to find the ones you're after.

Thanks for pointing out about the 'Are You Unsure' thread too, have set that to be unarchived.

Thank you. I did wonder,as so many of them appeared but I will no doubt stick to the ones from here,I think. However,I wanted to check and have. At the moment the shortcuts don’t work for me,I’m just used to typing the names for them out of habit but that’s a first world problem! :P

I get why that thread was archived, it hadn’t been posted in for three years! Clearly you and the staff here are doing a great job, with no one having to ask! ? I’m such a creep! :P

JarlieFanEver (Sarah) is having trouble getting into the forum. She can only see posts if she is logged on as a guest. She can't post anything.

Have suggested a few things for her to try but nothing has worked, hence putting this here on her behalf. She's on a laptop and uses Google or Safari as her search engine.  She's tried logging in and logging out again.   The board shows her as online even when she's not.

Have told her that the forum was updated recently and perhaps this is the reason for restricted access.  Any clue as to help her?

Been busy the last couple of days and not had much chance to get on here. Looking into Sarah's problem now and updating her via her initial PM.

These annoying little things can crop up following an update, but we have to keep the forum software up to date as there's often security fixes etc.

Edit: Yes can definitely see the problem there but not sure what's going on, will have to pass that and dvj1208's issue onto our technical support team (i.e. Chris ?).

Edit again: I've managed to fix Sarah's problem I think (I realised she wasn't using the default forum theme—we probably need to remove the others), but the personalised feed is still outstanding

It is working for me again. Thank you so much for all the hard work you had done to fix the problem, Dan F :) *thumbs up*

Hi Dan!

My personalised unread feed is not loading any posts. I deleted it and reset it and it still doesn't work. Can something be done about it?

Thanks!

Just to say that Chris has replicated this and submitted a bug report to the support team. ?
