georgie Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 Hi, My friend and I hope to visit the Palm Beach area in January. Can anyone tell me roughly what time of year they stop and start filming over the christmas period? I know the info is somewhere on this forum but I've searched and googled and can't find the answer! Thanks in advance - this post is great source of info Quote
Dan F Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 Liam's House is indeed a great location - it's been found and it's on our 'to photograph' list The Christmas break can vary, but they usually stop mid-December and return mid-late January (could be the 17th or 24th, but impossible to say at the moment). Ryan Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 I feel Liam's appartment works in well with the theme of Summer Bay. However, I have to say that I think the use of that quarry a week or two back does detract from that feeling of community and as if we've seen enough locations for it to be a medium sized town. Quote

Thanks Dan! Aw, we will be there early Jan so will no doubt miss out on seeing anyone there but just wanted to check! Thanks Quote
Mistified Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Liam's House is indeed a great location - it's been found and it's on our 'to photograph' list Oh excellent! Thank you! I do wish they had continued with the storyline of Liam doing up that old place to live in and work from - I liked that idea. Quote
Dan F Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 A minor location from earlier this year uploaded to the site today. We've also been working extra hard on tracking down some early years locations over the past few months (which is a heck of a lot more difficult), and am glad to say we now have a majority of the original houses now photographed Lost count of the locations still to be uploaded - but it must be around 70 Quote

Many thanks to those involved, taking time out of their life, to do these difficult and painstaking searches with very little to go on as to where the locations are. Quote

I've actually never been in there but when I was watching the episode I was wondering where they would go to film scene like that and I noticed that the interior matched what the exterior looked like and put two and two together!
