Doing drugs isn't illegal. Selling them is illegal. You don't get charged for doing drugs, but if your stupid enough to do stupid illegal things while on those drugs then thats whats illegal.

I don't know the law in Australia, but in the uk if you get caught with drugs you get arrested. You might not get charged but you'd definitely get some sort of official caution.

How are the police supposed to know you've taken drugs you can't take a breath test. If you're acting normal nor breaking the law nor in possession of they can arrest you do a urine /blood test. I think Jodi's cooperation, admitting there had been some cocaine consumed was in her favor.

If this had never happened then they would probably've broken up over something else cause sending the cops on your girlfriend just before taking off to your family is a bit cowardish and i'm not buying it, Jodi may look bad after her bad experience wdyci?? but it's not her fault it was unpreventable and Ryan is cold as ice for sure, he's still not back?? he can have his money ( ) run to daddy ah rich boys ( jic, who am i to judge)

Just one more thing, i don't think this will mean Jodi's contract as she just renuwed it, breaking up with Stokes would be a big enough punishment teaching kids that drugs are bad stay away from gangsters otherwise you............

Doing drugs are illegal. A lot of girls idolise Jodi. She is setting a bad example. I believe that Jodi should be severely disciplined. It is always the way. Celebrities always break the law and get away with it. Any one else, would be charged with narcotics and making a false report to police.

Severely punished? I have to disagree there. She should get the same punishment that anyone else would... and I doubt that it would be that harsh.

True! I was thinking about that too, if she didn't have any on her, then she can't be charged for that I don't think. If all you have is drugs in your system, I'm pretty sure that's not illegal, but might be wrong!

Jodi Gordon home alone while Ryan Stokes gets racy

THE relationship between embattled soap star Jodi Gordon and media heir Ryan Stokes appears to be very much on the rocks.

Stokes was on one side of the country yesterday, enjoying himself with his father Kerry in Broome.

Meanwhile Gordon was in Sydney, looking forlorn pacing the balcony of the luxury harbourside flat she shares with Stokes and talking on a mobile phone.

Rather than being in the harbour city supporting Gordon, whom he reported as missing to police last Wednesday, Stokes spent the weekend in Broome after attending a company business meeting on Friday. He was photographed enjoying a day at the races with his father on Saturday.

You can get arrested for having drugs in your pocession, or for getting caught selling them but if the drugs are already in your system there's nothing the police can do.

Actually last time I checked possession of a class A drug is an offense, and so is wasting police time. I think that had it been you or someone less well known who was in this position you might have been charged with something. I understand the desire of fans to rush to Jodi's defense, but you do not know the facts here, and if she has got involved with drugs she needs to wise up and making excuses is the last thing she needs any one, especially her fans, to do for her. You also have to remember that the Jodi you want her to be may in fact bare no resemblance to the real Jodi, and that the image you have of her as a fan is just that, an image. It is extremely common for someones public image to bear no resemblance whatsoever to their private one. However, having said that none of us knows and at the end of the day neither we nor the media really have the right to speculate on her private life. It is HER life, not the media's not yours not ours. I think the best thing to do is to back off and let her sort it out. She has a family and friends for support and they are the ones who will count.

I think her getting charged will make not much difference anymore her reputation is already i hate to say ruined but and that's a lot worse then getting charged in silence without the press.

Of course noncelebs (people like us ) would be charged for wasting cops time but we don't have the press to worry about everything depends on it and with Jodi even her boyfriend... I would know what to choose, i think for Jodi it can't get worse she can't be punished more.

In their situation it isn't really fair comparing them with us cause when scandal happens they'd be happy to swith places with us. Being a celeb's got it's own advantages and of course it's disadvantages that differ from us so it isn't really fair handling them the same because it's got a different impact on them and they don't have to be overpunished.

Everyone can try to become a celeb ( in it's own way ) if you don't wanna be charged by cops when you're ?? on drugs then i'd say... go ahead

My opinion on things like drugs, drink driving, anything is that I won't stop you doing it, you just have to be prepared to live with the consequences of getting caught.

I think that six months down the line most of us will have forgot or won't actually care anymore.

I totally disagree.Assuming what we've heard is true why the hell should he let her ruin his family's hard earned reputation?Seems to me she's the one who doesn't give a toss about him,socialising with bikie members and getting off her face on drugs.

What I actually said was that if you get caught with drugs, you get arrested. But as someone else said there's also the fact that she and her friend were wasting police time, and if that was a direct result of their drug taking then it doesn't bode well for her. Either way I doubt she's in any trouble legally, she probably just got a telling off. Work-wise, however, I'd imagine they'll haul her in for some serious 'discussions' - and rightly so.
