Ok so the good new is.....we got a Charlie/Ruby scene that didn't entirely revolve around Angelo, like most of their conversations or purpose of meetings tend to. Very sweet seeing Charlie actually take an interest in Ruby's obvious upset. Did anyone else notice that when Charlie asked her was it anyone in particular, she looked like she was about to go on the defensive and tear some guy to shreads. It's nice to see that protective nature towards Ruby again. Haven't seen that since the Grant storyline.

The bad news is.....with all this stupid Angelo nonsense that's going to go down over the next few weeks, we probably won't see another Charlie/Ruby scene for about a month or more. Unless the Ruby/Liam thing comes to a head (or leads to other things e.g. they sleep together or something) and everything gets spilled out into public knowledge. It's very unlikely but since the storyline does seem to continue, maybe an outside possibility.

I thought Ruby was actually going to tell her there for a moment! I hope it does come out at one point, I would love to see how Charlie would react. Does Charlie even know that Ruby is singing with Liam? I dont think she does....

I think it's a pretty sad (yet accurate) commentary on the state of the show that we're getting excited about Charlie & Ruby having a scene together in a few weeks time.

There was a time when they had a scene together every episode that they were in and the show was better off for it. It's ridiculous that a mother and daughter, who used to be incredibly close, who have supposedly repaired their relationship and live in an incredibly tight knit community, never seem to spend any time together.

So much for Charlie wanting to be Ruby's mum  She isn't even acting like a sister at the moment, it's like Ruby doesn't even exist to her. Ruby may as well be her third cousin twice removed judging by the family bond that exists (or, rather, doesn't) between them today.

Maybe if Ruby was a man and her name was Angelo she'd get more attention from Charlie.

i just want them to have like a huge emotional scene where ruby calls her mum and charlie and her hug and she moves back home !!

I think we'd all like to see that but we're far more likely to see more whining from both about their significant others.

You'd think that after finding out your older sister was really your biological mother along with everything else that has followed, Ruby and Charlie would be a lot closer. I'm not asking that they have a scene every episode because they need to split the screentime, of course, but you kind of have to ask, 'Does Charlie spend more time with Angelo or her own freakin' daughter each week?' And do they really have to talk about Angelo every time they meet up? There are other topics in life - such as their father... or the weather.

Anyway, I can't wait to watch today's episode. I hope the scene between them is good.
