Perth Telethon 2009

I went to the opening ceremony this year, and it was awesome, but next year, me and my friend are going to try and stay for the full twenty six hours. We'll go down on Saturday morning, so that we can have autographs and stuff, then probably head to the city for a bit, then head back in for the opening ceremony, then stay all the way through

i did the 26 this year, it was insane, you need to drink SOO much coffee and redbull!

quick question, is there any website, that you can upload, heaps of pictures onto so that you dont have to keep using photobucket or something? or do i need to do them one by one? its just i have a fair few pictures and what not, unless i can email them to someone? who has an account somewhere, which they can upload them from? any help would be great

I had a feeling I would need a LOT of coffee & energy drinks, but me and my friend are mental. Her & me together are a lethal combination. Those seats are pretty comfortable though.. so if I bring a blanket and a pillow, I could just collapse there :lol:

I really want to do it for the whole time though, because I absolutely love Telethon, and I think it's an amazing idea. And we were thinking of purchasing tickets to the opening and closing ceremony, so that we don't have to leave right at the end.

Any tips (apart from the energy drinks) about staying for the whole 26 ?

yeah the seat are niice, they dont hurt or anything, ohh take like a change of clothes, cause you feel really yukk! i ended up buying a new outfit hahah! i felt digusting, take some food to nibble on, cause its so epxensive there, i think over the weekend on food i spent bout 50bucks, not to sure though, and maccas isnt the best thing for breakfast, even though its the closest! yes, get tickets to opening and closing, take no dose, they keep you awake too, but all the screaming should keep you up anyway, and even so often go outside and get some air

And when the guys were taking their shirts off and stuff, Luke called out to Todd, "I love you, Aden!" haha. They kept calling each other their characters names, it was pretty funny.
Lol! That's funny, but I can totally imagine Luke doing that. Was the shirt-taking-off around 10.30pm on the Saturday night (because I have footage of that)?

I lost track of time, but yeah im pretty sure it was around then. You got footage, that's awesome! I didn't even think to video it.

If you are uploading photos, you can do them all at one go on photobucket. You just have to use the CTRL button, so that you can select more than one image at a time.

And Dorey, with the leaving your seat thing (for Telethon next year) did you have to get someone to watch your seat so that it didn't get filled up, and how did you get back in without re-paying ?
