Dorey- Do you know where they were going to, when you met them??- like was it an after party or something.

You can meet them anywhere. Sometimes moving around the convention centre, at the shopping centres, kids carnival and even where they film you can just go to the side near the steps when they come off the stage. It's pretty laid back and you can approach them whenever as long as you're not interrupting with filming.

You've probably left by now but aussie_female have the best time at your lunch today. Hope it's awesome.

some girls ruined the night in the afternoon, when todd and david came on stage, they bombarded the poor things, which stopped people from getting pictures, but i assume you know, now, after the show, when they all walk up those stairs towards the other end of the centre, i was lucky to get a picture with bec, this girl was trying to drag her away and i asked, and told her id being there for the 26hours, so she gave me one, and i got a stupid looking one with todd, and a nice one with axel, but not many this year, which was a bugger, ill post em later :)

I got to meet Tood, David, Axle and Luke at the Galleria. I had to go through the line twice, because they kept sending people up to Jack Campbell when they had already been up. Everyone was holding up the line trying to wait for the H&A guys. Finally David (who the MC person kept calling Xavier!) and Axle arrived and there was some screaming. However, I thought I might miss out because everyone was getting multiple autograohs and pictures with them both.

So I was about three people from the front when Todd and Luke arrived, having being held up at the hospital. More screaming. I finally got up and met all four, but because there were 4 of them and the line was quite big they were telling people they weren't allowed to have photos with them (we could take photos of them doing the signing, but not with us in them). So anyways I went to David first and the girls either side of me were chatting to the guys and I asked David, "Can I get a photo, even though they said we weren't allowed." He was all, "Sure," and took my camera from me. He turned it on me and went to take a photo of just me! I was all "No no no, that would be bad," but he was laughing too, "I'm joking," and then he took a photo of us both. Now, I'm not Xavier's biggest fan but the kid is hilarious.

While they were there they were trying to get more money and said that if we filled 4 of the tins that were going around that they would get Todd, David, and Luke to take their shirts off and Axle would sing a song (because according to him he's "a musician" and doesn't have the body like the others.). When they announced that Todd would be arriving, David then said "I'm not taking off my shirt now. If Todd's coming I'll be upstaged!" :P Poor kid! I didn't stick around to see if there was any shirtlessness.

I also have some footage from the actual telecast which I'll post later (hopefully).

Oh, and I also got to talk to Jon on the phone. The guy is really cool and went to school in my area :).

Wow, that was a big recap, sorry if I bored to all with the details.

Aw, that's great, Jen! It was a really great night, unfortunetly we didn't beat last year's donations - but $6.3 million dollars is massive, and WA deserves a big pat on the back.

I promised myself that I would dedicate this weekend for Telethon and try to stay for the whole 26-hours, but I got really tired and I started to fall asleep at the two am mark. So I went home for a power nap and came back. It was really good seeing the stars interact with the audience this year, something that doesn't, but should, happen more often.

I was a little disappointed when I heard that they were discarding the red carpet event, but the actual weekend was really fun. I rang up late and spoke to Chaske Spencer from Twilight. I didn't think much of it cos I'm not into the whole Twilight saga but I thought it was pretty cool cos he's a movie star! :P

Anyways, I got to meet a few of the stars - who, might I add, are really lovely and genuine. And I got to chat with John Deeks. He is the voiceover guy who says all the things like, "the following program is classified PG" and "the following program is proudly brought to you by..."

After 20 years of going to Telethon, I'm over the moon that this year's was one of the best! :D

I agree, $6.3 million is very impressive. Don't worry, I've never stayed up for the entire thing either. I didn't think that the Twilight dud was all that special, but that's cool that you spoke to him. Glad you had a great weekend :).

Naw Jen! You're so lucky! Even though I'm not a Xaiver fan too, David sounds like a great guy and so funny with the camera and saying he'll be upstaged well its a true fact, bless him
