"Oh Wolfie your hair is naturally ugly" Nancy said running her comb through it

"You've been pulling at it for three and a half hours" Wolfie complained

"This is useless" Nancy said

"Can i look?" Wolfie asked

"What ever" Nancy said handing a mirror

Harley smiled knowing what Wolfie's reaction would be.

"Nancy you slag i look like the evil chick from Fatal Attraction" Wolfie said

Harley and looked at each other and laughed

"Jake come here" Nancy said

Jake took his eyes off his magazine

"No, no screw that forget it i'm over you doing crap with my hair i already look goth" Jake said

"Maybe i could paint your nail black" Harley said

Amanda came in and kicked the door behind her. she has fast food with her.

"I been giving Kelli a talk about how kissing boys isn't fun" Amanda said

She noticed Jake look up.

"Well it's fun with you just not with other boys" she said

"What other boys" Jake said

Amanda was quiet for a minute

"You kissed Harley" she said

"She kissed me and it was for good reason" Jake told her

"Ah yes, the stalker" Amanda said

"It's true her name's Cody"

She sat down.

"What with the John Connor T2 like hair" Amanda said messing it up

"Don't touch it" Nancy said

"What's with the fast food" Wolfie asked

"She has a craving for it"

"Are you trying to get both you and the baby fat?" Wolfie joked "You wont be able to spit it out without spliting your vag. Then there'll no fish for Jakey

"At least i get fish" Jake replied

"What do you mean fish?" Nancy asked

"Never mind" Amanda said

Well, at least Amanda seemed fine about Jake kissing Harley.When did T2 come out again?

Amanda, Jake, Harley, Wolfie and Nancy sat in an empty classroom at lunchtime.

"So i'm think about asking Clay out" Nancy said eating a packet of chips.

"Ah, you're a bit late on that sister" Wolfie told her

"What do you mean?" Jake asked

"He been hagin' out with Suzanna Bensen lately. So i think there's something going on" Wolfie told him

"He's going out with Suzanna Benson?" Nancy asked

"He told me she smells like rotten eggs" Nancy continued

Jake took a mouth full of coke and tried not to spit it out

"Oh my god, she totally does. I lost my virginity to her on my 14th birthday. Still can't get the stink out of my sheets that were on my bed that night" Jake said with a little chuckle.

Amanda was sitting on his knee and turned her head slowly and looked at him.

"What?" He said noticing she was looking at him

"Suzanna Bensen?, i thought you were a virgin" she said

"Your not pure. I mean you can't get pregnant on your first time" Jake replied

"That's fiction" Nancy told him

Jake looked down noticing his leg was wet.

"Amanda you dirty animal, you just pissed on my leg" Jake said staring her.

"Thats not ****, Amanda your water just broke" Harley said

Jake gaged a few time

"That is gross get off me" he sais pushing her off.

When Laura walked into Amanda's room she saw Amanda resting resting her forehead on Jake's forehead. Jake said something softly and kissed her

"Well what was it a boy or a girl?" Laura asked

"Girl" Amanda replied

"What did you name her?" Laura asked

"Cici" Jake said

"Britney" Amanda said the same time as Jake said Cici.

"Britney?" Jake said

"Cici?" Amanda saids the same time time

Laura smiled

"I think i'll let you sort that out later" Laura said

"Laura, i just wanna thank you for supporting us through this. My mother didn't" Amanda told her

"That's ok Amanda" Laura replied

A nurse walked in

Jake and Amanda looked at her and she looked at them back.

"What?" Jake asked after a while.

"There were some complications and i'm sorry to tell you that your daughter has died" The nurse said

"What?, what do you mean she died?, what complications?" Jake asked

"I'm really sorry" she said and walked out of the room

"I'll go find out" Laura said

"Jake just stay with Amanda" Laura continued and walked out of the room

CHAPTER 28

Amanda woke in the morning after crying herself to sleep the night before. She felt Jake arms wrapped around her, his eyes were red too. She looked at the nurse at the end of the bed reading her chart.

"Sorry did i wake you?" She whispered trying not to wake Jake.

"How long has he been here" Amanda asked

"All night, he hasn't left you. You've found a keeper there" The nurse said

"I heard about the baby, i'm really sorry, did she have a name" The nurse said

Amanda was quiet a looked at Jake for a bit

"Cici" she told her

Amanda moved Jake arm and he woke up and wiped drool from his mouth

"Hey" she said

"Hey" he replied

"You know i had this crazy dream last night" Amanda said

"What dream" Jake asked

"That the baby died"

"I had that same dream" Jake said

"I woke up hoping it was just a dream" Amanda said

Jake was silent.

"I'm gonna get some gross coffee. want some?" he said sitting yawning and changing the subject.

"No, i'm fine" she replied

She sat up and kissed him

"I don't wanna lose you" she said

He smiled and walked out of the room.

Jake and Amanda having different names for the baby was a funny moment.I suppose it was inevitable that they'd be left thinking the baby died.

Amanda sat up in bed reading a magazine waiting for Jake to return with a drink of some sort. Anything would have been good after what they gave her in hospital

"Hello darling" she heard a voice say

Amanda lowed the magazine

"Mum" she said

"I heard the news. I'm sorry. i'm really sorry that i've been such a cow to you" Kitty said

"I'ts ok, you're here now" Amanda replied

Jake walked in the room.

"Why are you here?" Kitty asked

"Excuse me" Jake replied

"You heard me, There is no reason for you to hang around you trashy little runt" Ktty told him

"Mum" Amanda said

"Look at you, standing there wearing a black t shirt with holes at the bottom of it and jeans with holes in the knees and that messy hair don't get me started on that" Kitty said

"What kind of example were you going to set for the baby. My daughter deserves better than a white trash little pesant like you" Kitty told him

"Mum" Amanda said

"I think you should go" Amanda told her mother.

"No Amanda he's gonna go" Kitty replied

"I don't want you hanging around this runt" Kitty told her

"It's ok Amanda i'll go" Jake told her

"Later?" Aman asked him

He wink as if to say yes and left

"You're better off without that boy" Kitty told her

"Do you really think this is the right time for that. He lost her too" Amanda said angrily

"He would have left in 6 months times if the baby was alive anyway"

"And your lucky he didn't hit you, and i would have taken his side if he did. Please just go" Amanda yelled

Glad Amanda stuck up for Jake but sadly I can't see a happy ending for them.

CHAPTER 31

Jake got in Joel's car which he took with Joel or Laura knowing after his confrontation with Kitty.

He sat there the for a minute then started the car and sat back in his seat and saw a father with his daughter getting in a car which made him start thinking about his daughter.

He started to scream, yell and cry as he banged the steering wheel as hard as he could. He closed his eyes and saw an image of a baby in his head and also heard a baby crying somewhere in the car park, or was it in his head. He wasn't really sure.

He reached over and opened the glove box too see if there was a whiskey bottle in there. Sometimes Joel kept one in there. But nothing was in there but a few a papers and tapes. But he was still looking around in the car maybe a beer or something. Anything to get his mind of the baby. But he couldn't find anything. He put his head in his hands and started to cry when he noticed the faint burn mark his dad had given him.

He stared at the light and then pushed it in and kept his eyes on it until it clicked out. he grabbed it slowly and looked at the yellow red glow. Maybe pain might help he thought to himself he raised his left arms and smacked the lighter hard on it he closed his eyes and clenched his teeth. It hurt more than when his dad had done to him. He dug it in deeper into his arm and let out a yelp but still left it there until he heard his skin start to sizzle, making it smell awful. He lifted the lighter

and little bits of melted skin came away with it.

"Ok" he said to himself in pain and put the car in gear started to drive home.
