I agree about Joe, he was totally amazing tonight, his best performance i think :D

Really loved Olly and Stacey was amazing again, she is such a lovely girl :D

I think it will be between Lloyd and Jedward to go out tomorrow night

Loved all the performances tonight, except for the two plonkers dancing around on a metal box.

But anyway, I thought that Stacey was very good, and Joe was the Highlight of my night!

Love Ollie, hated the song, hope he'll be safe tommorrow.

It's no question who needs to go.

1 word....

Jedward. <_<

I *LOVE* JEDWARD!

Seriously. They're just...... brilliant.

I don't care much for the X Factor (I may do if they stop clashing it with Strictly and remove Cheryl from the judging panel, but that's neither here nor there). I have, however, been keeping upto date with their performances, either through a break in the SCD performances, or through watching on itv/youtube later.

They can't sing. I know that. Why people keep pointing it out is beyond me. I get the impression even those that vote for them know they can't sing. They're ENTERTAINING though. I've seen a few other XF performances when SCD has finished and my Mum has it on downstairs and, tbh, I find the rest of them incredibly dull. It's hard to believe that this is the same show that brought us Leona Lewis (who, whilst I'm not a huge fan myself, has a gorgeous voice). None of them had much of a wow factor. Or should that be an X Factor? :P

I get a lot of people see it as a singing competition, but that doesn't stop others from having the right to see it as "entertainment". I was one of those SCD viewers that complained, whined and moaned when John Sergeant kept getting through SCD last series. Now, I feel like I should eat humble pie, because I can actually see where they were coming from. It entertained them. Isn't that was Saturday nights are all about? Entertainment after a week of working?. Why would people want serious when there's enough serious drama going on in the world to depress us all as it is? I'd rather sit and watch an entertaining performance by John & Edward than be forced to go out into the real world and actually worry over much more serious matters. A tired argument, maybe, but true nonetheless.

I don't think they'll win (sadly), but I'm glad they were finalists. A better singer will triumph in the end (as they always do) but I wouldn't be to surprised if J&E are still the most talked about of the series when it ends. I hope they do well whatever they do, even if it is Butlins-style. So long as Louis sticks by his promise to look after them when the shows over, they should be OK.

They'd be brilliant as the next Sam & Mark. (Ant & Dec's pushing it. Even I'll admit J&E aren't a patch on Ant & Dec). :D Ironically, Sam & Mark were also in a reality tv entertainment show, neither won, yet both are still the most popular and most recognisable to come from the series.

I apologise to everyone, because no doubt I'll get eaten for this post. I do, however, love you all. :P

I agree about Jedward. They can't sing very well at all, which is no doubt why Louis keeps giving them rap songs. I HATE rap as it's "music" for the tone deaf, but I always have to see Jedward. I nearly always miss Saturday's show but I watch it on YouTube the next day just for the entertainment value, don't bother checking out any of the others.

I'm not too sure they won't win tho. Ollie is pretty good, as is Joe, and Stacey is very, very likeable and has a great voice. But...they just don't have anyone this year who is a world class star. If Jedward were up against someone like Rhydian it would be a totally different story (hang on a minute tho, Rhydian was runner-up to medicore Leon Jackson, wasn't he? )

Considering they sang "I'm Your Man" I was a little underwhelmed in comparison to their previous performances. They were still as entertaining as always (and by far the most entertaining of the performances I managed to see) but it was a little forgettable. Sadly, it could be what sends them home tonight. Bless them. But at least they'd have had fun. I agree about Rap music. I hate it too. However, lets be honest, without Rap music, there isn't much they can give J&E without simply showing off their weak side. Unfair, IMO. 'Tis not their fault they're still there, after all.

I switched over for their performance last night (whilst watching SCD) and then switched off completely when they'd finished. Apart from J&E, the rest make me want to fall asleep.

Great point about Rhydian though. I'll be more than a little shocked if J&E get through tonight. It's like an article I read (I may have mentioned this already, apologies if I have). The journalist that wrote it said that - whilst they're are some good singers there (she didn't describe them anything more than that) none of them are entertaining and they're all likely to be forgotten this time next year. Whilst it's not fair to judge them completely, it wouldn't surprise me if it was true. I didn't watch the series Leona won (to save time, I've never watched TXF completely) but even I knew she'd come from XF, I knew how she won against and I'll probably still remember her in a few years. I haven't seen anyone like that this series. The two I managed to see in their first audtions - Lucie & Lloyd - seemed completely bland (I wasn't surprised Simon wanted to send it to the public vote when she was against Jedward in the bottom 2. I can't help but feel he really wanted to save them, but knew he'd risk the backlash if he did.). I'll be surprised if, by this time next year, I can name any of them (apart from J&E of course :P).

Again, I wouldn't be surprised if they left tonight. However, once they leave the show, I'll lose all interest anyway, so it makes no odds to me, really :P.

I'm gonna go away now, before I upset people. :P

Jedward can sing

They're really not bad... Quite good i think

Haha. I've never seen that before. That's awesome. They actually sound OK on it. They went through moments of sounding a little bit like (and this WILL probably offend every Westlife fan, sorry :P) Shane. Bless them. I thought that was quite good.

Still adore their Ghostbusters performance the most though.:lol:

Jedward are awesome, although this wasn't one of their best weeks, I preferred them last week.

Lloyd or Danyl to go please. Danyl can sing, but the sound of his voice is just really harsh on my ears, I cannot stand it. Lloyd meanwhile, cannot sing to save his life. When they showed the voting numbers of the Xtra Factor, they showed a clip of him, then one of Stacey, and the difference in talent was astounding. Lloyd is so rubbish and flat, then cut to Stacey who is amazing. Lloyd is just atrocious, and I think the haircut showed how distinctly average looking he is really. Get rid of him!!!!!!!!

As a massive George Michael fan i was looking forward to seeing last nights show but i have to say it was the most painful thing i have ever been unfortunate to see. They murdered almost all of the songs apart from Joes rendition of Elton John's Don't Let The Sun......., Jedward doing Wham rap were entertaining and Stacey was great as usual {although not as good as last week}.

On to the bad, tone deaf Lloyd was IMO rubbish as usual but i won't be surprised if a better singer is voted off tonight over him.

Hated Olly's version of Fastlove, it's one of my favourite more recent George song and he was way off key and out of tune for the first half of it and his annoying dancing is really starting to get on my nerves.

And finally my fave ever George Michael song Careless Whisper which was murdered by Danyl, i know they didn't want a "Karaoke" version of it but whoever came up with that arrangement for the song needs to get their hearing checked, it sounded awful to me and i hated everything about it.

If i was George Michael i would be telling them they could never use any of my songs ever again on show after last night.

It will be interesting to see who goes tonight, hopefull either Olly, Lloyd or Danyl IMO

{sorry for the rant :lol: }
