Interesting, but rather disjointed. Feels like lots of separate stories rather than one. I liked the first two chapters, about the Meanspirit, especially how it was taken with the fibre-optic Christmas tree!

Disjointed sums it up perfectly! Trouble was, I began this fic when my druggie neighbours were really getting me down with their constant arguments, noise etc (the description of Richie Phillips' druggie mates in Promises to Keep didn't ALL come from my imagiation! ). Plus at the time someone was writing an anti-Kane fic and it annoys me that ppl have to keep getting digs in like that while Kane fans never run down Angie (I've noticed anti-Kaners are often Angie lovers! ) Mind you, I'll be more sympathetic towards her in Rock Me Gently (that is, unless someone else begins another anti-Kane fic... )

I never really plan stories and it started out like a children's fic (I'd like to write for kids) but then I felt like I was talking down to everyone on this board so I decided to change it.

Very original story, I think the first two chapters were my favourites. It's good that there are still fics on this site that aren't about Martha/Jack/Matilda etc. (not that there is anything wrong with them, I'm sure, I'm just not interested in the characters.
