I personally thought she acted amazingly well last year and Charlie had a few good storylines. Congratulations Esther!! Will definitely be voting like mad for her Also, congratulations to Ray!!

flyingwithoutwings Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I think Esther being nominated after such a short while, and Ray FINALLY being nominated for the FIRST time in 20 years kind of makes a mockery of the whole Gold Logie thing. While it's great she's being recognised, because yeah, she is good, she is no where near Gold standard. On the flip side, Ray has been up there for so many years, and now is only being recognised. I agree with kelly969, I think Esther's nomination is more about the celebrity hype, rather than of much substance. But good luck to her, none the less. Go Ray! About flamin' time!

I'm glad Esther has been nominated though...its great recognition for her and from here she will only get better.

I'm sure she's a lovely girl and she comes across that way but the other nominees are either small screen legends or actual personalities that host tv shows. I guess it's all debatable though given that it's done through a voting system of preference.
