Didnt really like him when he first arrived but I dont think we were meant to. He has really mellowed since he got enegaged to Gina and strangely he seems to be a nice fatherly influence for Xavier after making such a hash of it with Trey.

I find he brings some light hearted humour into the show aswell through a lot of his small everyday appearances.

I like him. He can be a pain in the butt, but he can also be humorous, even if he's not trying to be. He's even made Xavier bearable and I really like his scenes with Gina and Xavier.

It`s a cross between love and like...I chose like.

He`s a great father figure to Xavier....better than Xavier deserves actually. Xavier is a spoilt brat. I really hate the way he screws up and seems to get away with everything.

I'm pretty much indifferent to John as a character.

Quite often, I like him but other times, I just think that he is pretty pointless.

I don't really think he serves as anything massive to the show...and he hasn't really had many major storylines.

A slight pointless character imo.

I hated him when he first showed up but now he's easily one of my favourites. Marrying Gina was one of the best things he did. Plus I LOVE his relationship with Xavier.
