Why do they take it off though? How does it affect the Australian Open coverage, I mean according to my tv guide they are showing a double of Harry's Practice. I don't understand why they need to take it off air.

9am Perth is 12pm Melbourne/Sydney etc and i think 7 are obliged to show the Australian Open live but i have a feeling The Early Years will return

It will on the 25th January, no ep on the 26th and then back to normal on the 27th.

I thought it was strange that they had an episode yesterday, rather than ending the current [pre tennis] run on a Friday, but the cliffhanger ..... Alf seeing the "incestuous" kiss tween Shannon & Curtis ....makes the Monday ep make sense.

I get the Perth time thing but wouldnt they show the tennis on the main ch7 instead of 7two?

It used to get up my nose when BBC1 took Neighbours off for Wimbledon for two weeks at a time. Although they would sometimes move it to BBC2.

It seems kind of pointless to dislodge repeats of a show on a digital channel to ram more tennis in.

It was finally back on this morning  It looks like it wont be on tomorrow, and then the time slot moves for Wednesday to 8am in my region. Cant wait to watch it everyday again
