Good show tonight!

Really did'nt like Cher's performance tonight.. totally agreed with Dannii Minogue's comments tonight, that is why she is the best judge, the only honest one out of the lot.

Awww... I felt so sorry for Aiden tonight, he's so talented yet, I dont think that was the right song for him! So I hope people pick up that phone & vote for Aiden, would be crazy if he was in the bottom 3 tomorrow night!

Matt Cardle :wub: Ah he was fantastic tonight, supported him & Aiden from their first audition anyway, but Matt tonight was brilliant :D Great song choice for him too, one of my favourite songs at the moment!

One Direction are just adorable :) & they were good aswell!

I love your avatar!

I dont think Aiden is in any trouble, Team Minogue had a good night. I reckon it's Simon and Louis should be worried right now. There is some controversy in Ireland about the Tesco ads plugging Mary just before the phone lines opened last weekend.

My honest opinion of Cher is that she seems like a nice person but I dont like the attitude that comes in her performance, if she just sings a ballad and lets everyone see who she is and what kind of person she is, she might get a better press in the media but she doesnt seem to do that.

I love 1 direction, I think they should go far in the competition as well as TreyC, Aiden even though he messed the song up, it just wasnt the song for him. I nearly cried when he was in the last 4, I never wanted him to go home :( and also Matt who I think is adorable! :D

Did anyone else sense the tension between the judges last night? Dannii and Louis came out holding hands but then there was an obvious gap between Louis and Cheryl. On The Xtra Factor, when Simon was talking, Louis said something under his breath and Dannii started giggling. Then, when Dannii was defending Aiden's performance, Simon turned around and said "Look, Dannii..." but then cut himself off. It's been noted in the press this week that Louis and Cheryl were at loggerheads and Simon said in the News of the World yesterday that he has barely spoken to Dannii since she came back from Australia and it is becoming more and more obvious on screen. I think Simon needs to open his eyes and see that Dannii is the best judge and the public love her. Louis has always been the joker on the panel so I dont think that is going to change. Simon needs to stop using favouritism towards Cheryl as it's sickening.

All weekend I've noticed this! It seems to be Louis versus Cheryl and Simon versus Dannii. Theres a lot of politics going on, with both sides backing each other acts and trying to destroy the others. I mean, there was nothing wrong with Paijes performance, and Simon was petty enough to pick on Dannii over dancers. I loved the really awkward moment between Louis and Cheryl when Louis said something about Cheryl being too old to have posters on her walls- it made no sense but I just love Louis! Simon has also said that Dannii and Louis are jealous of Cheryl- I hardly think Louis would be that upset & I'm sure that as Dannii is just a new mother herself, the last thing she is thinking about is being compared to Cheryl Cole. That said, I'm delighted Dannii is winning in the style wars! :) I'm certainly on Team Louis & Dannii, although I have a feeling this will be Dannii's last year.

Am I the only one who really doesn't understand the criticism Aiden got for his performance? Yes, okay so a few of the notes were a struggle for him but after hearing all the flack I watched it expecting it to be awful and was still blown away. I think the rest of his performance was faultless and he has such a beautiful tone to his voice. His performance is still miles ahead of a lot of the other contestants even with the scratchy few notes (which I thought he covered really well.) I was surprised Louis was the only one to defend him - maybe it's because like you guys were saying there's a divide with the judges Dannii/Louis and Cheryl/Simon.

I agree with Zetti about Cher, it's her attitude that grates on me the most about her performances and for that reason I don't want to see her win - even more because I don't think her voice is actually that good; it's pretty weak but because she raps unlike the others and is therefore 'different' people think she's great. I still don't like Katie either.

I adored 1 direction, I just spent the whole time awwing, I thought they sounded brilliant and they just look like they're having so much fun when on that stage, they're always hugging each other and laughing and I always have a big smile watching them.

I have to agree. He wasn't terrible at all, just a few scratchy notes like you said. I was so angry with Cheryl & Simons comments, seeing as Cheryl can barely sing a note in tune herself..(but thats an argument for another day..:P)

I totally agree with both of you, I hope he goes far in this competition and in the music industry :D

I totally agree with what everyone is saying about Aiden. I was thrilled for him when Dermot called his name out last night. Hope he has a better week, this week, think he also needs to sort out his shyness on stage, after he sings, he's not really good with the interview with Dermot.

Not really liking Cher - loved her first audition, but she's boring me now to be honest! Tired of her rapping in her performances everyweek, with me "one trick pony" springs to mind. Don't know what you guys think of her?! That's my opinion on Cher though.

Mary does have a very good voice! Have to say though, that the only two contestant's I really like this year are Matt & Aiden - loved them both since I saw their first audition.

I'm not liking Konnie as a presenter on Xtra Factor. Plus reading all those negitiave tweets to Dannii about Aiden, like she said "talk about kicking a guy in the teeth when he's down" - he's only 18 aswell.

Also did sense a tension between the judges. Seem's to be Louis/Dannii & Cheryl/Simon. Especially with Cheryl & Simon kept disagreeing with Danniis comments on Saturdays show.

I adore One Direction, they make me smile. :) I know it's only just been the second week, but does anyone think they could win. I know groups have never won. Think they could though - they have a HUGE fanbase, if you see on Twitter, Facebook ect.

I agree about Aiden, he certainly didnt deserve that critisim when the likes of Wagner and Diva Fever were still in the competition. Dannii doesnt seem to want to be there this year, she doesnt seem to be herself. Maybe she just wants to be with Ethan but cant give up the best job on TV. If she didnt come back this year, maybe she would have been overlooked next year. I dont think this is her last year, she has said time and time again she loves her job and will keep on doing it. I dont know what Simon's problem is with her. She is most definitely not jealous of Cheryl - Cheryl's biggest wish is to have a baby so if anything it would be the other way around. Not to mention Dannii winning the style wars, all the favourite judge polls and winning TV Star of the Year earlier this year. I do think the girls get on with each other, when Cheryl joked about Simon having whiter teeth on Saturday, Dannii leant over to say something to her then.
