I agree! I knew it would go to deadlock, with Simon saving Katie and Louis saving Aiden. Its such a fix!! do they really mean to tell us that tracey, possibly the most BORING x factor contestant in the history of x factor, got THREE TIMES MORE VOTES than katie last week, and yet this week Aiden gets lower than her?? not a chance..I mean, Aiden was never going to win...but still!! ridic!! I am so mad right now!!

I made the EXACT same point last week that TreyC was a much better singer than Katie (and a better one than Aiden incidentally) but Simon and Louis both opted to keep her because they thought the public would rather have Katie in and no one said anything. Now because it’s someone from Team Danni it’s an outrage. For me personally last week was the only week where Aiden put in a decent performance. His performances have been bad and even tonight when he was singing he seemed defeated. Katie was much better and never gave up and to be honest I’m glad he’s gone. The fact that he was bottom of the public vote speaks volumes again he can sing but his performances weren’t good enough.

Having had time to think about it since last week I think Simon is thinking like a businessman. It is far more profitable to keep Katie in each week because she causes drama and is controversial which brings more attention to the show meaning more people watch it and so more people are likely to phone in and more money in his pocket.

The show is a farce and it is becoming pretty obvious to me that is the whole reason why people are voting for Wagner. There are two main types. The first type see him simply as an entertainer rather than a singer and are not too bothered about the other acts as they don’t see them in the calibre of Leona Lewis. The other type are doing it simply to spite Simon. Either way it leads to the same thing.

At the moment I think Matt and Rebecca are the favourites. One Direction are close behind and Cher probably has an outside chance.

Katie has been in the bottom two four times which certainly speaks a lot more than someone who was in the sing off for the very first time.

The reason no one said anything about Treyc was probably becasue the majoirty think she has a great voice, no doubts about that but she is lacking in personality. Aiden on the other hand had something different and unique. Katie's performances over the past weeks have been pretty dire and it's pretty obvious Simon's just keeping her in for the drama. If Katie had been Louis's act he would have voted her off, no doubt about it.

Not according to the public and as I said before I thought Katie was better than Aiden in the sing off and I actually thought Louis was going to save her again. I think you are clearly suffering from a case of sour grapes. If people really wanted him to go through they should have picked up the phone and voted for him.

Funny you should say that because I didn't see much of Aiden's personality. Danni herself hinted something like that in Xtra Factor (not specifically about Aiden but the fact that some singer's personalities don't shine through). I think there’s no doubt he is unique and can sing. He was never going to win the competition anyway. Katie doesn’t have a hope in hell either. Simon’s knows what he’s doing and he won’t keep doing this. I think if she went up against one of the other acts – Matt, Rebecca, Cher there’s no way he would keep her.

Katie has been saved by the judges every time (bar tonight) so it's not exactly an accurate protrayal of public opinion. Apparantly last week she had the least votes. Since Aiden left the Katie 'hatred' has intensified on facebook, twitter etc. It's crazy. Every other year Simon votes someone off if they've been in the bottom two more than twice. Sure Aiden wasn't his best this week but he didn't deserve to go. I think he's probably one of those acts people don't vote for becasue they assume he's safe, he's always been in the top 5 votes wise until this week.

I am not suffering from a case of 'sour grapes' thanks very much. I just think this proves the whole show is a farce

Granted Katie’s been in the bottom two consistently and I think it’s plausible she could have had fewer votes last week but do you actually have any evidence to show that she was actually in the bottom last week or any of the other weeks for that matter? Referring to Facebook or Twitter hate campaigns is not evidence. It’s not even circumstantial it’s just conjecture. How do you know Aiden’s been in the top 5? I thought when Louis announced who was safe it was in no particular order. I myself have stated that Katie doesn’t have a strong voice and she’s been extremely lucky but I think Aiden definitely should have been in the bottom 2 at least once before today. If it wasn’t for that fact that he was so unique and likeable I think he would have been.

I am still too angry to comment on tonight's show (which I would like to point out is Simon's second time doing this to Dannii after the Lucie/Jedward farce last year) but I would like to point out the growing friendship between the female judges ;

I truly believe that the media furore sorrounding the girls being at loggerheads is absolute tripe. I've noticed they seem to be getting on really well and this is evident especially on Xtra Factor.

A few weeks ago, when the cameras were not supposed to be on them, Dannii and Cheryl were seen to be engrossed in conversation. Tonight, when Dannii and Konnie had their "misunderstanding", Cheryl stepped in to explain and was seen to rub Dannii's leg to calm her down. AND, when Dannii (who seems SO brave this year) dare question her boss about One Direction's names, Cheryl clearly was delighted and applauded Dannii.

ALSO, in her autobiography, Dannii remarks on how nice Cheryl was to her when Louis made her cry and how she held her hand under he table and came to her dressing room afterwards.

There is also reports of Cheryl running to check on Ethan during the ad breaks. Cheryl has also publicly spoken about her admiration for Dannii this year and about how fabulous she looks as a new mum.

In return, Dannii has publicly backed Cheryl's decison not to vote last week (where Louis was seen sniping "at least I voted" to Cheryl on the VT this week) and they seem to be supporting each other during the Xtra Factor.

So, it's about time the media let it go and embrace the fact the girls like each other. After all, they are the two most famous women in the country so why not embrace them rather than knock them?

Im being completley honest when I say Im never going to watch or take The X Factor seriously. Katie has been in the bottom two for weeks now, I think she needs to take a hint and possible.. leave?
