^I have noticed that Cheryl and Dannii seem to have become closer this year! When did Dannii snap at Konnie!? I was only half watching the xtra factor you see.... and oh my God when Simon declared that Dannii was better than Cheryl regarding staging, I actually had to rewind to see if I had heard right! :o...

Konnie was saying how Matt sings girlie songs and Dannii got defensive saying how can you call The Beatles girlie?

I can understand why Dannii got defensive about that; it's something that's been brought up before with Konnie and Dannii at the time explained why he's had 'girls' songs and it's getting a bit boring now. Plus he's only had songs performed by girls 4/7 shows now, 3/7 of them have been male vocal songs. Konnie is a pretty dreadful presenter on Xtra Factor; she makes me cringe the way she's clearly talking waffle because she doesn't know what to say.

Matt - Well that was a shocker :P When it first started I thought uh-oh, they've made a big mistake here. It didn't sound at all like him but as he got into it I actually really enjoyed it and thought it showed a lot of versatility. Didn't think the outfit suited the song but I'm sure not many people were complaining! He did look good I have to admit.

I thought his VT was quite sad when he was talking about Aiden :(

Rebecca - unfortunately I thought this was her worst week; the clothes were absolutely dreadful but most importantly her vocals were very weak. It's a shame because I really like Rebecca; she has the most unique voice out of all the contestants but I think the nerves got to her this week.

One Direction - I didn't like this much which is a shame because I really wanted to; the guys seem to be very sweet and having fun and I adore the song they chose. It got better towards the end though but I'd hate the thought of them winning just because I don't want to see Simon's smug face - is that bad of me

Cher - I think I'm in the minority here when I say that I didn't enjoy it. I guess I'm getting a little tired of her ranting about how she's going to "shock everyone this week" when all it is is that she doesn't rap. I appreciated the absence of her rapping don't get me wrong but she looked very bored, swinging her legs about and I thought her vocals were exposed to be quite weak. I think she has one of those tones to her voice that either people love or hate and I'm unfortunately one of those who finds the 'screeching' and the sliding over loads of notes constantly really irritating. A good point though was that she looked her best this week. She did look rather surprised when she got given negative feedback though; there seems to be a bit of attitude there and Cheryl's "I'm so glad we have each other" to her made me vomit a little bit!

Paije - I thought he gave one of the best performances this week; I was pleasantly surprised. The song just seemed to suit his voice perfectly and he gave the most faultless performance. And I originally had him as one of the ones most in danger.

Mary - I love Mary and I thought she did really well; a definite improvement for the last week or so. One little thing about her voice I don't like is the way she over pronounces everything but she comes across as really lovely.

Wagner - all I can remember from his performance was the spat with Cheryl! I think she made herself look like a right fool to be honest; she constantly goes on about how you can't believe everything you read in the papers and yet accused Wagner live on TV for something she'd read in the paper. And whether his explanation was genuine or not, he made her look like an idiot. And I don't even like Wagner.

Katie - Hmm I'm still not convinced about her, the hair didn't change my mind! I think she's fighting a losing battle to be honest but saying that I don't think she deserves half of the abuse she gets in the media.

Overall I thought the standard was pretty dire last night and any one of them could be in the bottom two; it's very difficult to call! And I missed Aiden :( But it seems he's doing better for himself out of the show so good for him!

Dannii seems to have a major problem with Konnie, but I don't blame her. Most people don't like her as a presenter and Holly was a lot better. Konnie's opinion seems to change with every call.

I agree with you 100% and that's one of the biggest things that winds me up. When she interviews the contestants she just seems to repeat everything they say and ask daft questions like "do you think you're safe." It makes watching Xtra Factor painful...she's so inconsistent.

I'm also not a Cher fan. I just don't get the hype. She is not unique or different and her voice is not exactly brilliant. I also do not like the faces she pulls when she sings, she looks like she is in real pain sometimes.

I think Rebecca has a beautiful voice but she needs to change it up and do something up tempo. She's done the same every week so far. I like that Matt did something different last night and i think it worked. You need more than the voice and i think he proved that.

I also wish Dannii and Cheryl would comment on Wagners singing. They clearly don't like him (remember the look they gave each other last week when he got through) so it annoys me they try to be so diplomatic when giving him feedback. Thought it was pretty ironic Louis commented that it was a singing competition

I thought Paije was reallly good and probably one of his best weeks. One Direction were okay, but i don't think they're anything special. They have the cute factor and i think that's probably whats keeping them in right now. The annoying thing about Katie is that i think she has a really good voice and is a good performer but there's something about her that is just really unlikeable. It's hard to feel any empathy towards her. If she is in the bottom two again i don't see how they can justify saving her (unless it's Wagner - who i think is a complete joke and makes a farce of the whole show).

I don'ty think Dannii and Cheryl have ever really had a problem with each other. Certainly from what i've read they've been friends since Cheryl started on the show. I guess in the eyes of the media you can't have two women working together and actually getting along. And besides, it's a bit unrealistic to expect them to be mega buddies. Dannii is 12 years older and in a completely different stage of her life.

And..Konnie is a terrible presenter. She seems to have no idea what she is doing.

This is getting beyond a joke. Neither Paije nor Cher deserved that. How long is Wagner going to survive? It's just taking the p***. See the looks Cheryl and Dannii gave each other when he was called again.

I don't think i've ever seen Dannii so angry before!! I hope she doesn't get in trouble for saying s**t. Ooops

Defiantely noticed the Konnie/Dannii thing tonight! I always felt sorry for Konnie because she had some big shoes to fill after Holly left...but my, she is dreadful. Her facial expressions irritate me beyond belief! And I didnt like the way she was badgering Matt about Wagner.. good on him though ''I looked at Wagner because I'm facing this direction.''

So disappointed with tonights results although I'm not shocked... Paije was never going to win but I think its a disgrace that Wanger is still in. I mean its gone waaaaay beyond the joke! As I said before, at least with Jedward it was a bit of entertainment. Wagner I do not find funny...at all.

The worst Konnie moment tonight was when she questioned Aiden as to why he'd chosen the order of contestants he'd most like to win as Matt, One Direction and Cher. Her first reaction was "but I thought you liked Paije over Cher".....does she not watch the show?

I have mixed feelings about tonight’s result. Whilst I’m relieved Cher survived, I was gutted for Paije. I really liked him and thought he had a great voice. His performance tonight was great and I thought he handled himself very well and was gracious in defeat. He has a very positive attitude so I wish him well and good luck for the future. I don’t think either he or Cher should have been in the bottom two but have to accept that’s the way the voting went. I thought Cher did pretty well tonight (not as well as Paije) but when they announced her name I thought she was going to crumble at first. I do worry about her because I still think she’s young and has a lot to learn. If she had gone tonight I don’t think she would have handled it very well. In all honesty I thought she was a bit lucky. I’m not sure how the voting went but reckon if it went to deadlock she probably would have gone. I just hope she can pick herself up and bounce back next week. I’m going to give Simon and Louis the benefit of the doubt and assume that they voted for Cher because of the fact that they thought she was more marketable.

I’m glad Katie survived. I still think she’s been lucky but she definitely deserved to survive this week after last night’s performance.

I’m not too annoyed about people voting for Wagner because I can see why some of them are doing it. I do wonder though realistically how much longer he can last.

I have to say I don’t like the way Matt’s conducting himself regarding the whole Wagner thing. His comments on X-Tra factor were obviously directed at him. If he doesn’t stop he may start to lose support.

Danni’s frustration with Konnie is becoming blatantly obvious now (and I don’t think a couple of questions the callers asked her helped). That’s understandable because at times she can be a bit irritating. Also I don’t like the way she tries to stir things. She was trying to get Matt to openly admit his comments were directed at Wagner almost a deliberate attempt to start something. Also I can’t remember if it was yesterday or today where a celebrity said something about a contestant and she tried to twist in into an admission of hatred.

Dannii swore tonight and then got stuck in Konnie again, there is definitely something going on there.

Neither Paije nor Cher deserved to be it that position tonight.
