Luke Jacobz is the new X-Factor Host

i became more of a fan of his after he killed jack

not because i disliked jack - in fact, i quite liked his character

but because angelo had a more 'original' storyline than many others.

will have to try and tune into X Factor oz somehow. I love the dude

I don't understand why people think this would threaten his role on H&A. Other cast members have done other shows while staying on H&A. Didn't Kate host some celeb singing comp? It's basically the same thing. I'm sure that during the months when the X Factor stuff is going on Angelo's storylines will be slowed down, and then it'll be ramped back up when the season finishes. I mean, channel 7 wouldn't have offered the hosting gig to him if they thought he couldn't handle hosting and being on H&A. He's one of the bigger stars on the show now, so I highly doubt they were going to risk losing his name in H&A.

Angelo fans may be worried but it seems Angelo haters are quick to push the fact they think he wont be able to juggle two things at once! Equally as annoying.

Not sure if that was directed at me or not but personally just because I don't like Angelo, it has no reflection on what I think of Luke as a person - I don't even know him and therefore am not claiming to think that he is incapable of juggling two things at once. I don't know how the X Factor works in Aus, I'm simply looking at how it is here in the UK and I will be very surprised if Luke is physically able (as a human) to resume his role as presenter should he present the next series due to all the countries he will need to travel to and the time he will need to dedicate weekly as well as auditions.

But it's pretty pointless to debate it as it doesn't solve anything. All we can do is wait and see. I'm sure Luke feels really lucky to have this opportunity and good for him - a lot of actors and presenters will be envious I'm sure!

No sorry, it wasnt meant to be directed at anyone in particular! There are a few people on here that just give the impression they cant wait for him to go, and that this gig means he has absolutely no choice but to pick one over the other. And that's simply not the case..

It was given to him suddenly anyway so he has to make it work for this year at least.He can't just up & leave HAA.

I was only giving an opinion. I was just saying that whether or not it backfires depends on how well he juggles the two as it does not always go accordingly.

As much as i love Luke can someone please tell him to stop tryig to compete with Nat Bass from dancing with the stars!!!
