I doubt Todd's "failed" to make it in Hollywood or America. I think he's criminal charges prevented him to go over there. I think Jess and Todd want to work in Aus but America isn't out of the question. I got that vibe anyway......

I think Julez is referring to the fact that it's nice to see actors like Todd who are working in Australia because they want to and choose to; not just having to come back to Australia because they failed to make it in Hollywood. You're right though; I think it was only his criminal charges that stopped him going to Hollywood. I think it's really great that some actors do want to stay in their country and make Australian stories rather than just trying to go where the fame and money is. Todd seems to be doing really well.

I totally get how he doesn't want to be labelled as 'Aden from Home & Away.'

I think everyone's responsible for it though but he wasnts to be known as an actor, not just because he was in an Australian soap.

But he did say he does expect it to happen.

When I mentionat home about Todd Lasance, my aprents have no clue who I'm on about.

As soon as I say 'Aden from Home & Away' they notice. I have no idesa how, seeing as they don't watch the soap ...

But at least now he's known for doing more things which is good.

^^Lol, I know what you mean! But if a younger, hot guy fancied me, I reckon I'd be pretty tempted to look past my 'soulmate' too (I'm a sucker for a guy who's 'man' enough to like an older woman.) But as well as a romantic interest to Lara, I'm liking Cam as an addition to help the team from a diff angle.

...Oh so good to see Todd's amazing acting again. I'm glad he didn't go to the US (at least not yet). It'd be nice to think our industry had actors who want to be working in Aus and not just here because they failed to make it in Hollywood.

You mean she's one of those who failed in Hollywood, or that she wants to work in Aus? I saw her on Paper Giants too, she was fabolous!

I meant she's one of those actors who wants to work in Australia. She said explicitly in an interview that she is happy that she doens't have to go overseas to find work. Shows she's not just an extremely talented actress but also a very wise down to earth girl if you ask me.
